Syllabus

Grades

Your grade in this class will be determined as follows: There will be several quizzes (approximately one every other class), two in-class exams, taking most of a whole session each, and a final exam. The quizzes and homework count cumulatively for 20% of your grade, the midterms count cummulatively for 40% and the final exam counts for the remaining 40%. In sum:

Final40%

In order to pass the class you need to get at least 60% in the final, and your grade in the class needs to be at least 74%.

Tutoring lab

Tutoring help for all math classes is available at the Department's Tutoring Lab. They are located in CP 303 and are open Monday through Thursday 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Friday and Saturday 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
