Merge to Israel–Hamas war hostage crisis. News coverage on its own is routine primary coverage and does not meet WP:GNG. If the target page becomes too long, we have the option to WP:SIZESPLIT to List of kidnappings in the 2023 Hamas-led attack on Israel or something similar. Keep. Noa Argamani is the most recognized and well-known hostage due, in part, to her abduction being caught on a viral video. In the words of NBC News, Noa Argamani became the face of the Nova music festival hostages. The coverage of her in reliable sources is global, overwhelming, and enduring. This is exactly why it must be kept - she is the face of the abductions, a captive conspicuously not returned with other women and children, and a further victim of forced propaganda.

No valid reason to delete this, as this kidnapping has received significant attention by reliable secondary sources, and indeed is more notable, and less worthy of deletion, than the other articles on Hamas kidnap victims that have been nominated for deletion on identical grounds. The fact that 200 other persons were also kidnapped, and did not receive extensive individual coverage, is not a reason to delete an article on kidnap victims or kidnapped families that indeed have received substantial coverage in the global media. Keep as per WP:Notability. Other editors have already outlined what I wished to say, but not only is the article well sourced, but Noa's case is one of the most well-publicized, and an ongoing one in which she has been publicly used by her kidnappers - obviously cynically - to maintain publicity to the ongoing regional conflict.--Kieronoldham (talk) 04:20, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
