influencedigest.com

Removed from a BLP [1]; appears to be used for PR per statement "let's make you famous" here. For consideration for the list to deter future use. ☆ Bri (talk) 17:29, 4 May 2019 (UTC)

User keeps creating multiple articles with little to no sources

Bijnorlion (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · blacklist hits · AbuseLog · what links to user page · count · COIBot · Spamcheck · user page logs · x-wiki · status · Edit filter search · Google · StopForumSpam)

User claims to be a "Lockal media news paper and news paper". If you look at their talk page, you'll see they've been given a total of 53 notices this month on poorly sourced articles, suggestions to move to draft space, and speedy deletions. Yet they keep posting more and more one-line articles with little to no sources. I've added a warning to their talk page. Given the amount of articles they pump out, it's possible the user really is a newspaper, in which case it goes against WP:USERNAME. After my warning, they did try to add more sources to their next article, but it's still a long way to go from a decent one. It seems to be coming from a good place, they're trying to increase the number of articles on Indian-related musicians. But I don't know how many of them are notable enough for an article, and there are so many of them.

Help picking these apart and suggestions on what to do with the user will be highly appreciated! Alex.osheter (talk) 17:31, 17 May 2019 (UTC)

@SNAAAAKE!!: as well as two previous editors who were both blocked for spamming. Obviously warning and blocking is not enough. Hence: plus Added to spam blacklist. --Dirk Beetstra T C 10:49, 22 May 2019 (UTC)

Online Casino Spam

I tried out Huggle for the first time, and I keep finding this user spamming a link to this site. Rlin8 (··📧) 05:07, 23 May 2019 (UTC)

@Rlin8: I've blocked the user here, but this seems to be cross-wiki, so after I have a COIBot report I will likely blacklist this on meta. Thanks for finding this. --Dirk Beetstra T C 06:58, 23 May 2019 (UTC)

Altmed spam functional-medicine.associates

Two accounts, the first one in article space and was blocked, the second extant one on talk pages and warned. Leaving here as it's unclear yet if it'll need blacklisting. —PaleoNeonate – 11:26, 29 May 2019 (UTC)

  • Note: The user page and user sandbox of the Emily Watson92 account is pretty much a copy of the web site and is both a copyright violation and pure advertising. -- Whpq (talk) 13:24, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
  • (edit conflict) Update: Two ad pages were created linking to it but in userspace (CSD-tagged), User:Emily_Watson92 and User:Emily_Watson92/sandbox; no further addition to mainspace at the moment. —PaleoNeonate – 13:26, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
    • Blocked as spam-only. If it continues, the site will be blacklisted. MER-C 17:04, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
