Selected song -
Wisin & Yandel released a solo version of the song with lead vocals performed by them under the original title. While failing to chart on main Latin songs charts in Billboard magazine, it did manage to debut and peak at number sixteen on the Billboard Latin Rhythm Digital Songs chart, charting simultaneously with the lead single off the album "La Vida Es Así" which obtained the number two position. The song brings together the first studio album released by Ivy Queen in three years and first for Machete Music, after being with Univision Records since 2005.

The Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award is an honor presented annually by the Latin Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, the same organization that distributes the Latin Grammy Awards, to commend musicians who have made creative contributions of outstanding artistic significance to the field of recording. Award recipients are honored during "Latin Grammy Week", a string of galas just prior to the annual Latin Grammy Awards ceremony.
Since its inception, the award has been presented to musicians originating from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Spain, the United States, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
The awards were first presented to Mercedes Sosa, José José, Roberto Carlos, Willie Colón, and Antonio Aguilar in 2004. José and Carlos were later honored as the Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year award in 2005 and 2015. Mexican singer-songwriter Armando Manzanero and American singer Linda Ronstadt have also been recipients of the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014 and 2016 respectively. Colombian musician Joe Arroyo is the only recipient to have posthumously received the Latin Grammy Lifetime Award in 2011 following his death four months earlier.

Residente o Visitante debuted at number one on the US Billboard Top Latin Albums chart, selling 12,000 copies in its first week. The record was also certified Gold in Argentina by the Argentine Chamber of Phonograms and Videograms Producers (CAPIF). The first single released from the album, "Tango del Pecado", reached number 14 on the Billboard Latin Rhythm Airplay chart. The record received positive reviews from critics, who praised the album's experimental nature and unique lyrical themes.
