Defer to Local blacklist: in light of persistent spamming in spite of warnings and requests over the last 2 years. Note that in a few cases, legitimate editors have added links to these sites and may wish to do so in the future. I recommend admins approve whitelist requests for individual pages when made by reliable, established editors. --A. B. (talkcontribs) 03:37, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The site equivalent to u-tube, with the addition of categories and photo-albums - effectively a video or photo journal / blog. The user involved is insisting on the addition of the link to the Lake Tahoe article, and removes the dmoz link to re-add it. Note: The site is also in use in a large number of other articles as well. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 01:04, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Note: A quick scan of earlier edits by the same IP show multiple articles where the site has been linked by this IP. Can someone else take a look, and give your opinion on the encyclopedic value of these? --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 01:09, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The user ValeriyD (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · blacklist hits · AbuseLog · what links to user page · count · COIBot · Spamcheck · user page logs · x-wiki · status · Edit filter search · Google · StopForumSpam) appears only to insert links to russian-dvds.com (a purely commercial site) into articles on Russian films. I haven't warned him, will someone more knowledgeable follow the correct procedure. 131.111.223.43 (talk) 02:07, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I warned him and reverted his edits. I will post a link on your talk page. -Seidenstud (talk) 02:41, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

COIBot whitelist[edit]

You might want to add AnomieBOT (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · blacklist hits · AbuseLog · what links to user page · count · COIBot · Spamcheck · user page logs · x-wiki · status · Edit filter search · Google · StopForumSpam) to COIBot's whitelist. I noticed today it showed up on a number of your reports in connection with it's task of rescuing orphaned references. Anomie 03:11, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
