Recent behaviors[edit]

2) Heqong is now conducting a harassment campaign against User: Bonafide.hustla by placing threat and other personal attacks on my talkpage. Given his recent behvior, arbitrators should make more severe remedies. In addition, this user still hasn't made a single productive edit since his initial arrival. For more details, see evidence.--Bonafide.hustla 08:53, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The user seems to have left wikipedia.--Bonafide.hustla 07:16, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Locus of dispute[edit]

1) It is alleged that Chiang_Kai-shek, who has changed his name to Heqong (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), has disrupted editing of articles which relate to the Republic of China. Typical edits advance a pro-independence point of view [1].

Comment by Arbitrators:
Proposed Fred Bauder 14:53, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Use of Heqong confirmed by checkuser. Fred Bauder 16:23, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Checkuser was a waste as I as unaware of the change of name. Fred Bauder 16:41, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Comment by parties:
Strictly speaking, Heqong edits from a pro-ROC point of view. There are three sides in the situation, pro-PRC, pro-ROC, and pro-independence. --Ideogram 03:12, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Comment by others:

The name Chiang Kai-shek[edit]

2) Chiang Kai-shek, while famous, is long dead. A user choosing that name could not be reasonably confused with him. However Chiang Kai-shek has changed his name to Heqong.

Indef. block[edit]

2)Heqong should receive an indef. block plus talkpage protection in addition to indef. IP block to avoid the creation of abusive sockpuppets. Reason: wikilawyering, talkpage vandalism, lack of civity, POV pushing, and general disruption on wikipedia. This user is wasting the coommunity's patience.
