Unhelpful redirect. Found no evidence which suggests that this is in fact an alternative name used for this racing circuit. A Google search indicates that it was likely used for an ad, but I'm not so sure it's worth keeping. CycloneYoris talk! 23:58, 13 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - it is listed at target, but it's just a slogan. For comparison, most of the entries at List of Coca-Cola slogans do not even redirect to that article (only the very notable ones do).   • Retarget to Haha per El cid. I dug into this a bit, this redirect appears to be the result of a copy and paste move a long time ago, and the single ref in the stub did not mention "Hhaha" or even "haha". I can find no evidence for the Hhaha spelling referring to any tribe, but in any case, the dab page will get searchers seeking the tribe there. There was a disagreement between Bkonrad and Qalnor on the page Black Friday, and it appears that it's largely down to the question of whether there actually was an event known as Black Friday in 1929.   • Keep - the target mentions Black Thursday, Black Monday, and Black Tuesday; it's plausible that someone would look for information on those days without knowing which specific day of the week they were, and the title is unambiguous.     For what it's worth, Black Thursday (Oct 24) was the day the initial severe slide began in U.S. stocks, where the Dow lost nearly half its value in a matter of days, but there was so much activity on that day that stock tickers were still printing hours after the markets closed, and the impact wasn't apparent to the general public until reported in newspapers the following day (which then led to panic selling and even greater crashes on Black Monday and Tuesday after that weekend). Thus it's reasonable to view that day as "Black Friday", though it's not a common usage and not described in the article. As for the view that Black Friday (shopping) is named for that day in 1929 because of the crash, it's not; it's entirely unrelated. By the end of November 1929 the stock market had settled into a slow, steady decline that lasted for several years. "Black Friday" wasn't used to refer to the day after U.S. Thanksgiving until the 1950s, and at that time described workers calling in sick to get a four-day weekend. It didn't get its retail connotation until the 1960s. Coincidentally, the day after Thanksgiving 1929 was the day that Richard E.     • I don't believe the views contain any meaningful information here: until a few days ago, the redirect was linked from the dab page Black Friday (this link accounted for 85 of the redirect's views in March), and I imagine that given the prominence of the target article, the redirect will have been given priority by the engine in search results and drop-down suggestions when readers search for "Black Friday". – Uanfala (talk) 00:34, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect needs to be deleted because (a) the current target doesn't mention this title so it's not clear why this direct exists and (b) there is now a US institution with this title that should be at this article (it's currently at Moravian College; it recently changed its name).   • Change to Disambiguation As stated in the article "The university is the oldest in Moravia and the second oldest in the Czech Crown lands." It precedes the second oldest university in Moravia by 345 years and the newly named "Moravian University" in US by 169 years.   • Move per others above. There don't appear to be other uses of this term as a proper noun (though I'm seeing partial title matches for a Moravian University College Olomouc which appears actually be known as Moravian Business College Olomouc). Other uses appear to be descriptive terms for Moravian university (uncapitalised); some sort of hatnote to an article that covers universities in Moravia might be warranted if it existed. The casual reference mentioned by Cimmerian praetor doesn't appear to be found in English, at least judging from available online sources. --Paul_012 (talk) 10:33, 21 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nanchan Temple (disambiguation)[edit]

This was created by a page move. The DAB includes "Nanchan Temple" in China, and "Nanzen-ji" in Japan. Therefore, this seems an unlikely title for anyone to use. Note, too that Nanchan redirects to Nanchan Temple. Cnilep (talk) 03:31, 5 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like an unlikely search term for the target, as Bugby is a surname. There don't appear to be any notable people bearing the name, but there's several string matches across the project. Procedural note: actually, this nomination intends to discuss the page bug, which is currently a (very) long DAB page. But it makes more sense to discuss it at RfD than AfD, and the bug (disambiguation) redirect will need to be dealt with if the bug page changes.

99.9% of "bug" uses are made one of (1) software bug, (2) wiretapping, or (3) some biology meaning (some sort of insect). Yet, as things stand, you need to scroll down two pages (on my desktop display) to reach either of those uses.

I think software bug qualifies as WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, but this might be my bias (I am more familiar with computers than with insects or wiretapping). If so, I would redirect bug to software bug, add a hatnote there, and move the DAB to bug (disambiguation). Failing that, I strongly support a reorganisation of the page such that the biology, software, and wiretapping meaning appear at the top of places, people, etc. (such reorganisation would also be warranted if software is primary, because then biology/wiretapping should still be on top of the DAB page) TigraanClick here for my talk page ("private" contact) 16:01, 13 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Tigraan: If you think "bug" has a primary topic then you should use the requested move process to move that article to the base title, if there is consensus for that then the dab page will be moved over this redirect without need for further discussion. While Bug is a disambiguation page then this redirect is needed (see WP:INTDABLINK) and won't be deleted. If you think the disambiguation page should be reorganised then you should either do that boldly or discuss it on the talk page (I'd recommend leaving a note at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Disambiguation as dab pages are often not well watched). I can find no evidence that a fatberg is known as a fatburger (although my search was not exhaustive). The article doesn't mention it. I think the hatnote at the Fatburger article is enough to dispel any confusion and these redirects should be deleted.   • Comment – When doing a TESS search for “Toll Tag” I get only 1 “live” result, “TOLLTAG” whose registrant is TC License, Ltd Corporation Delaware, 8158 Adams Drive Liberty Centre, Building 200, Hummelstown Pennsylvania 17036 and whose last listed owner is North Texas Tollway Authority Regional Tollway Authority Texas 5900 West Plano Parkway, Suite 100 Plano Texas 75093.
