ROTS[edit]

The result of the discussion was Change to DAB page. GB fan 12:24, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Unlikely search term, should be possibly retarget to a french town besides the Star Wars film. JJ98 (Talk) 18:58, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. It's a common acronym in Star Wars lingo. See TPM, AOTC, ANH, ESB, and ROTJ for the other Star Wars episodes. If needed it can be turned into a disambiguation page. TheCoffee (talk) 19:34, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Rots, which already has a hatnote to the film. Thryduulf (talk) 22:07, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment there should be a disambiguation page, since ROTs/Rots can be plurals of the various ROT/Rot topics, and "rots" is the action of rotting. -- 65.94.76.126 (talk) 02:21, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment there's also RotS -- 65.94.76.126 (talk) 06:20, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disambiguate - the best solution here seems to be a disambiguation page, listing the Star Wars film, the French town Rots, and any other possible meanings. Robofish (talk) 20:39, 16 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment a sample DAB page is now located below the horizontal rule at ROTS for evaluation. -- 65.94.79.6 (talk) 22:35, 18 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep ROTS redirect to Revenge of the Sith, and create dab page at Rots (disambiguation). -- JHunterJ (talk) 13:22, 19 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to rots (disambiguation). This discussion has clearly documented the need for such a page. I'll draft it now. Rossami (talk) 23:40, 26 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    • No, on second thought, overwrite with the disambiguation draft currently under the horizontal rule. No need for an extra page just to note "disambiguation" in the title. Rossami (talk) 23:46, 26 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. --BDD (talk) 18:14, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Premature: it hasn't happened yet. This redirect can always be recreated if conflict actually breaks out, but at the moment it's inaccurate. (Note that Second Korean War is a redirect to Korean DMZ Conflict (1966–69), which I don't have a problem with.) Robofish (talk) 16:06, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Latest stable release/Google Spreadsheets[edit]

The result of the discussion was Speedy deletion per WP:G8. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 00:32, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No such category ever exists as "Latest stable release" nor does such a template exist for any software product. So such a redirect is useless, unrequired and handles just one use cases of the thousands possible. Anyways. the redirecting page template has no information either. It reads "NA" - not available. So this deletion is justified. Compfreak7 (talk) 06:57, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
