This is a list of redirects that have been proposed for deletion or other action on August 21, 2008

WikiProject G.I. JoeWikipedia:WikiProject G.I. Joe[edit]

The result of the debate was Keep. Seems there are quite a few redirects like this created by several different authors. No reason to single this one out. —Wknight94 (talk) 14:16, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cross-namespace redirect. David Pro (talk) 20:50, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. This rule appears to be somewhat controversial (see Wikipedia:Cross-namespace redirects), and I have personally on numerous occasions found the lack of this particular type of redirect to a WikiProject page wanting. It does little harm in that there's negligible potential that this will cause casual users to confuse project namespace material with main namespace content. __meco (talk) 08:14, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

List of underground stations on the bakerloo lineList of stations on the Bakerloo line[edit]

The result of the debate was Keep. (non-admin closure) Mastrchf (t/c) 13:34, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

the text of the target article has been merged into Bakerloo line and the target article has now been made a redirect to that. No articles link to the nominated redirect. DavidCane (talk) 16:54, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep because it documents a pagemove and the subsequent merger. Please see the reasoning above in the discussion about The Cure's thirteenth album. This is a completely different redirect but the reasons for keeping it are the same. Rossami (talk) 14:35, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Bakerloo line to fix a double redirect that presently exists. 147.70.242.40 (talk) 00:37, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Halo 4Halo (series)[edit]

The result of the debate was Retarget to Sin (song). Tikiwont (talk) 08:56, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No Halo 4 has is not yet being developed (and probably will never be made), and because nothing on the Halo (series) page says anything about Halo 4, the redirect should be deleted.  C Teng [talk] 01:01, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • This page was deleted at least four times before being turned into a redirect. Since being turned into a redirect, it's still getting vandalized but it's easier to monitor and fix than it was as a deleted page. Keep and protect seems to be the least bad way to preempt the continued addition of inappropriate content to this title. Rossami (talk) 14:39, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
wouldn't salting do the same thing. --76.69.168.182 (talk) 07:14, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Or we could retarget to the Halo 4 that is verifiable: Sin (song), in much the same way that Halo 5, Halo 6, and every other halo not announced by Bungie goes. --Damian Yerrick (talk | stalk) 21:42, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Agree with Damian. -Brougham96 (talk) 21:54, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Done. If this gets repeatedly reverted, I'd urge protection. 147.70.242.40 (talk) 21:28, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
