Rs hackRuneScape[edit]

The result of the debate was Delete. After Midnight 0001 15:28, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I can't think of a reason the redirect was created. In any case, there's no reference to it in the target article. — Arthur Rubin | (talk) 02:07, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep, a google search [1] returned results that suggest Rs hack is some sort of nickname for RuneScape. . *Cremepuff222* 22:23, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Per nomination. I don't think anyone is going to type in "Rs Hack" if they want to get to Runescape. --TTalk to me 21:58, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom. -AMK152(TalkContributionsSend message) 01:00, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PSA AthleticsPublic Schools Association[edit]

The result of the debate was delete as no content appears to have been merged. WjBscribe 03:58, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

These redirects do not seem to serve any practical or meaningful purpose and are unlikely to be accidentally entered search terms (the PSA is a group of 7 schools in Perth, Western Australia, a city in which more than 1,000 schools exist). They emerged from a "merge and redirect" on an AfD four months ago, so I think an RfD is important to decide how to proceed. Orderinchaos 09:49, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Speedy Delete As said by Orderinchaos, unlikely to be used, meaningless, and have never nor will ever serve as a useful redirect. Thewinchester (talk) 14:31, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, per Thewinchester. *Cremepuff222* 23:40, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. The Afd decision was merge and redirect. That is why the redirects are there. Since these were articles some people might be using the redirects. Also redirects cost nothing and do no harm. Leave them. --Bduke 04:59, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, per above. I did a "What Links Here" for a few, and it seems they are not in use. Unlikely to be used as search terms, either. Lankiveil 06:23, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Only PSA Rowing has (3) links and they are all from talk/afd pages.--Grahamec 02:38, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Bduke. TTalk to me 21:40, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. If merged, then the history needs to be kept for GFDL compliance. Keeping the redirects is the easiest way to do that and redirects are cheap. -- JLaTondre 01:17, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. No merge seems to have taken place thus far (not that there really was much content worth merging); check the history of Public Schools Association around February 8, 2007. -- Black Falcon (Talk) 05:37, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • You appear to be right. I was confused by the 20 January 2007 edit summaries by Nihonjoe. But digging deeper, it looks like he only added merge tags. The person who completing the merge request appears to have simply redirected them without adding any of the contents. I withdraw my opinion. -- JLaTondre 13:11, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Valentown: A Controversial HauntingValentown[edit]

The result of the debate was delete. WjBscribe 03:56, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I can't see how anyone would search for the Valentown article through this long-titled redirect. I propose it serves no viable purpose and should be deleted. CPAScott 20:53, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. It appears to have once been a duplicate article of rather low quality (with a focus on an alleged haunting) written by a contributor with possible COI issuses and later truncated as a copyvio (and then redirected). Given that the target article is of better quality (and the history of the "haunting" version does not seem to be needed for GFDL purposes), I agree with CPAScott that we can just get rid of this.
