Wikipedia:WikiProject Record Charts[edit]

Non-starter Wikiproject, had a couple members join but nobody ever did anything. Only talk on talkpage is notification of FLRCs. WikiProject created by Be Black Hole Sun, who was indef blocked for sockpuppetry. Most activity of this type happens at Wikipedia:Manual of Style (record charts) anyway. • Delete Per nom. Never really went anywhere. ~~ Hi878 (Come shout at me!) 04:22, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment Can it survive as a work group under WikiPedia:WikiProject Songs? Its intended mission is very important, I think everyone will agree on that. But I should admit that the project unfortunately become inactive these days.--Chanaka L (talk) 05:11, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - Frivolous nomination of an active WikiProject. Regards, SunCreator (talk) 11:35, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment. Indeed, most discussion regarding record charts take place over at WT:CHARTS. On the other hand, if the WikiProject is deleted, {{WPCharts}} (currently used on 895 articles) would become orphaned which is not great So I am undecided. – IbLeo(talk) 13:58, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep I can see a case for merging to wikiproject music to centralise discussion, but it does no harm and potentially very useful. Many wikiprojects are inactive -their templates are useful if one wants to track recent changes in a topic area, or look at an overview of article assessment (among other things). • Why do we insist on keeping all this crap around anyway? What do we gain from keeping a non-starter WikiProject just to gather dust forever and ever? Are we hoping that the WikiProject Fairy will magically restart the project? Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 17:03, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Mark as inactive - WikiProjects shouldn't be deleted unless the actual idea was really bad in the first place. I can see this turning into a functional WikiProject, and it had some involvement, so let's let it gather dust until someone wants to sweep it away. Claritas § 23:08, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
