Wikipedia:Mirrors and forks/All[edit]

The page is ridiculously long, enough to cause performance issues on lower-end devices, and will only get longer as new entries are added. It says this is intended for searching, but it could be replaced with a search box on the main Wikipedia:Mirrors and forks page and/or Template:Sitecompliance, similar to the "search archives" box on talk pages. This is a minor question of re-organization (which you are very welcome to do!). There's no need or purpose to deleting this history of the page (if there is any menaingful history), or need to bring this to MfD. Just Be Bold, re-organize the Mirrors and forks section as appropriate, and redirect this page to the base Mirrors and forks page so the history is still available if/when anyone cares. Keep. The issue of this page's length (and the search box proposal) does not justify this MfD. Keep. This page contains tranclusions of all the letter pages. Niche purpose, not intended to be widely viewed. Supposedly aids searching. If this is useful to 2-3 people, great. It doesn't matter if slows down some people's computers, they probably don't need this page in the first place, and can visit one of the pages that is being transcluded. —Alalch E. 14:49, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
