Talk:Stepanakert/FAQ[edit]

Apparently this is not displayed anymore at Talk:Stepanakert and in any case users can clearly see at the top of the talk page how a rename has already been discussed twice, so I'd incite users to get rid of unnecessary clutter. Delete. An unhelpful, worse than useless, talk FAQ subpage because it imprecisely records the overarching decision-making process comprising multiple RMs, has alreay become outdated twice, can become outdated again (it became outdated after the first RM, was then updated, but then became outdated again with the second RM), and invites potential disagreement over how best to describe this overarching process, when the same process has already been recorded using {{Old moves}}, which is the best way to do this. No one should see this page, no one should think about this page, it doesn't have any historical value, so deleting seems better than any alternative.—Alalch E. 18:21, 2 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@SmokeyJoe: the FAQ template was added by talk subpage creator on 10 November 2023 in Special:Diff/1184486683. Vanjagenije removed the template on 26 January 2024 in Special:Diff/1199185182 with the rationale: There is already a box explaining previous move proposals. No need for two boxes telling the same thing. This was a good thing to do, and I very much agree with this removal.—Alalch E. 12:48, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
