User:Herostratus and User:Johnuniq think this page is not link-worthy from the only few contexts where it should be linked from, e.g. WP:Offensive images. If it's not link-worthy, then what purpose does it serve? Nobody will find it. ASCIIn2Bme (talk) 18:36, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep Is used in response to help desk queries. -- John of Reading (talk) 18:52, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. I don't think that the page should be deleted, at all, nor did I say that it was never link-worthy, so I'm not clear why I'm mentioned as supporting this MfD. The page contains a compendium of facts which have some use and should remain collected together. It needs to be reformed with some rewriting and a new header in my opinion. It's not very useful and it needs to not be generally linked to as if was a general panacea and answer to the question of contentious imagery, because it's not. That's different than deleting it altogether. Herostratus (talk) 18:59, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep I really don't see how the nomination is at all relevant to the question of whether it should be deleted. Just because two people think it shouldn't be linked from a particular page doesn't mean the entire thing ought to be deleted, that it can't be linked to from other pages, or even that it can't be linked to from this particular page. • Keep-Obvious utility in telling people how to preform the described processes. Where it should/should not be linked from is an editorial matter for discussion on the relevant talk pages.--Fyre2387 (talkcontribs) 19:56, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Rename to Help:Options to hide an image Pages in the English WP should not be in Pidgin. --Kleinzach 00:21, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep, rename, and make easier to find.danhash (talk) 00:42, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps some or all of you would like to add your opinions to this discussion about whether it should be linked at the guideline named above.
  • Keep- Not even understanding the desire to NfD here. I was just using this page to create a template to demonstrate to Muslims how to view articles on English Wikipedia and not get offended. It wasn't very easy to find so that is a problem and it could be named more concisely. --Alatari (talk) 23:19, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Why would we want to make it harder for people to use some of our software features in a way that wouldn't interfere with what other people do? When they detail valid processes and when we know that people want to use those processes, they should never be deleted. Nyttend (talk) 05:10, 24 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
