Unreferenced plot summary related to Masque of the Red Death and Other Tales. Fails WP:GNG. BEFORE does not suggest separate notability from the book that describes it. Per WP:ATD-R, suggest redirecting this there. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:39, 21 December 2023 (UTC)

Redirectto Masque of the Red Death and Other Tales - There is no real reason for there to be separate articles that cover such closely related topics with much of the same information in both. The article with the actual gamebook as the subject is in slightly better shape - while most of the content is based on Dragon magazine, which is not a secondary source as it was an official D&D publication, it does at least cite a couple of reviews from other publications. And even the external links being used in this article are actually reviews on the gamebook. As there is no actually sourced information in this article, and as the vast majority of the information here is already present at the target, a simple redirect would suffice. - Merge to Masque of the Red Death and Other Tales - The improvements made to the article by Guinness323 should definitely be merged over to the other article, so changing my recommendation accordingly. Rorshacma (talk) 02:41, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
- Merge selectively to Masque of the Red Death and Other Tales - That article has been created later than Masque of the Red Death (Ravenloft), it seems to me as a good faith unintentional WP:CONTENTFORK. So I think we should not have two articles, and as has been said, Masque of the Red Death and Other Tales is better developed at this point. I do believe a few things should be preserved in a merge as not present at the target, specifically a note of the related products (the d20 version, Dungeon adventures, The Gothic Earth Gazetteer). - Redirect to Masque of the Red Death and Other Tales: There is no evidence that this completely unreferenced article's subject is notable. All of the potential sources are either unreliable or insubstantial. ―Susmuffin Talk 12:03, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
- Redirect per nom. QuicoleJR (talk) 15:18, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
- Comment Not knowing there was a separate article for Masque of the Red Death and Other Tales, I rewrote this article, adding sources and reviews and deleting unsourced material, and I believe the article is now much improved. However, as other editors have noted, it does not make sense to have two articles about the same publication. Guinness323 (talk) 20:16, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
- @Guinness323 Thank you. Merge seems to make most sense now. Any chance you could do it? I am pretty sure we could close this then as it would be superior to just redirecting (@Susmuffin @QuicoleJR). Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:27, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
- I have moved material from this article to the "and Other Tales" article. Comments and suggestions would be welcome. Guinness323 (talk) 06:49, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
