Weak Keep Seems like a banker with controversy, which IMO goes beyond BLP1E with some SIGCOV from appointment and dismissal news which are unlikely press releases (with speculation that the dismissal is related to the controversy)
[1] News about the controversy that "PICC Group once required all employees to recite Chairman Luo Xi's quotes, though such activities have been suspended", by Lianhe Zaobao (Newspaper)

[2] News about Luo Xi appointed as Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman at PICC Group by Caixin (reliable per Wikipedia:New_page_patrol_source_guide#China). Blocked by paywall, but there is a 5-sentence of intro about their bank career visible.

Keep per the significant coverage in multiple independent reliable sources. The subject passes Wikipedia:Notability (people)#Basic criteria, which says:
People are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject.
- If the depth of coverage in any given source is not substantial, then multiple independent sources may be combined to demonstrate notability; trivial coverage of a subject by secondary sources is not usually sufficient to establish notability.

Delete per WP:MILL and WP:BLP. There are thousands of VPs at banks across the world, and likewise many with scandals. I don't see how this guy rates as notable. Bearian (talk) 17:31, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The article needs to be updated. The article was written in 2013 when they were a VP, but they then became the Chairman and was later dismissed (An insignificant note: Vice_president#In_financial_services_companies does not apply to banks in China but instead it works in a way similar as what is mentioned in Vice_president#In_other_organizations). It's true that "Not every chairman with scandal can have an article" but I don't see how MILL would apply in this case. I welcome arguments about how the sources do or do not meet ANYBIO or how BLP1E is not addressed by them. 94rain ^Talk 18:05, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Luo Xi received a very detailed profile in the Securities Times in September 2020, which is one of the four major securities newspapers in China. This is a very strong source that demonstrates he is notable. His dismissal from the Secretary of Party Committee position owing to a controversy happened 2.5 years later in 2023 and led to more biographical coverage about him. Luo Xi passes Wikipedia:Notability (people)#Basic criteria. Cunard (talk) 10:47, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
