  • Keep. There are additional sources available for this article, as can be seen when reading the article of the same name in the French Wikipedia. Notability is clearly established. Risker (talk) 14:34, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Speedy Keep. Plenty of sources available. The article needs work, and I'll happily have a go at improving it, but there's no basis for deletion. Hugsyrup (talk) 14:39, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • Changed to speedy. Literally dozens of English-language sources available. See: [1] Hugsyrup (talk) 15:06, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
      • Yes, this was a poor nom, poorly "researched"! Johnbod (talk) 16:18, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Even before recent additions, any early 18th-century figure who had a biography published in 2006 is clearly notable. Johnbod (talk) 15:00, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Amusingly, and since this article stands the proverbial snowball's chance of being deleted, another search turns up John Huxtable Elliott writing in 1977:

Philip V was accompanied to Madrid by a number of French advisers, of whom the most notable was Jean Orry.— ISBN 9780452006140 p. 369

So there's a history professor saying it. I'll let you guess which three words I put into the search engine. ☺ Uncle G (talk) 16:52, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
