The result was merge to Italian Renaissance painting. A very short stub, which was merged without controversy during the course of the AfD (to which no objections were raised prior to expiry). (non-admin closure) jp×g 07:24, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Who is Marcia B. Hall, where does she say this and why is this disambiguation page needed? FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 19:12, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

WAAIIIT She is a distinguished art historian (see Draft:Marcia Hall). Yes it needs a ref & I've asked the creator for one, after which it will be merged & this can redirect. See talk - where's your WP:BEFORE? Johnbod (talk) 19:15, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Obviously it is not a disam page AT ALL, but a short list. Am I surrounded by idiots? Johnbod (talk) 19:20, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please be WP:CIVIL Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 19:24, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That's clearly wrong User:Spiderone! Add it to the visual art list if you like. Johnbod (talk) 19:19, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ok, now a redirect, as was always intended. Can this unecessary nomination now be closed please. Johnbod (talk) 21:02, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It seems to me that moving it from Draft to mainspace as a disambiguation page was not a useful act. The nomination was necessary at that point. Someone else can close it, assuming it remains a redirect. FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 21:23, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't resemble a disam page in the slightest! The original author had left links to his title (written as an article - someone else moved it to draftspace) all over the place, & I wanted those blue before redirecting. I've commented on your edits already & won't repeat myself. Johnbod (talk) 02:37, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Timtrent, Marcia B. Hall is Marcia Hall is the Laura H. Carnell Professor of Renaissance Art at the Tyler School of Art and Architecture. She articulated those ideas in Hall, Marcia B. (1992). Color and meaning : practice and theory in Renaissance painting. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press. ISBN 0-521-39222-5. OCLC 23766002., specifically in the chapter The Modes of Coloring in the Cinquecento. Vexations (talk) 21:37, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. She seems to know her stuff. Odd, then, that this was moved to main space as a disambiguation page in the state it was in. FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 21:58, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Do you keep repeating that nonsense deliberately to annoy? Can someone please close this, now it is a redirect. Johnbod (talk) 03:13, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
