Asian BoyZ was created in Long Beach for protection against the Longo 13 Gang in the Eastside and Northside areas of Long Beach because of Territorial tensions between the Asians and Latinos in that area. Currently in the Los Angeles Area the main sets are ES ABZ, NS ABZ in Long Beach and CS and WS ABZ in LA and Van Nuys ABZ. In Long Beach membership of the gang is around 200-300 gang members and 80 members in Van Nuys. ABZ is spread out from the Westcoast to the Eastcoast with sets even in Denver to Massachusetts. In total ABZ has around 3000 members nationwide.Some Sets claim the Crip Gang especially in Long Beach which is a Crip City. Mostly an Asian Gang some sets have Latinos, Blacks, and Whites in their sets mostly in the Eastcoast. Primary race of this gang is Cambodians with few amounts of other Asians such as Laos, Vietnamese, Korean, Filipinos. History East Linn Christian Academy has been impacting the lives of students in the Mid-Willamette Valley for twenty years. During the 2003-2004 school year school year we had the opportunity to educate 282 students representing 64 local congregations. ELCA was created to be an alternative educational choice for those families who wanted to focus on excellent academics with integrated scriptural truths. Kane Silom (born 8 July 1983 in Sandringham, Victoria) is an Australian journalist. He is currently the Dubbo reporter for Prime News. Silom has been with Prime since 2007 when he joined the Bendigo newsroom. Early life Silom was born and raised in Melboure's bayside suburbs. Born in Sandringham and raised in Chelsea, he attended St Leonard's College. Later, he enrolled at Monash University where, in 2003, he studied a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism). After finshing that degree Silom found he hard to get break in the business. He went back to university where he completed a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Eduction. Career Whilist compleiting his Journalism degree Silom completed interships at the Sunday Herald Sun and AFL Record where he built up invaluable experince. He then stepped out on his own and reported on the hockey for Sportal during the Commonwealth Games. But Silom's major break came while doing his education degree when he started as a cadet reporter at the Myrtleford Times in Victoria's high country. His second major break came eight months later, after he saw a job with a regional television station in Bendigo, Victoria. He moved to Bendigo, where she spent the next 4 months working at Prime Television. In 2008, at 24, he joined Prime TV - Orange, where he currently works at the Dubbo bureau. Other Silom also has a keen interest in field hockey where he has been on the reserve umpiring for the National Hockey League. In 2006 he umpired a number of international lead up matches to the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. In April 2008, an group of law educated individuals, attending an international law conference in Washington D.C., undertook a fight on behalf of the Åland Islands demanding it's independence. The group used the chance and protested while a Nordic foreign minister was in the Capital City on April 11th. The Government of Finland has not commented on the protest or the freedom fighters, fighting to "Free the Åland Islands". This group is growing today, and has according to a facebook group website over 100 members. The group is planning a demonstration in Finland in June against the oppression of this modern day colonial power, as the group itself describes it. The self proclaimed freedom fighting group has made the news in Iceland when the groups spokesman, Anna Pála Sverrisdóttir, was quoted in Iceland's most respected newspaper, [Morgunblaðið][1], the 21st of April 2008. The government of Finland has not commented on the demonstrations. Abraham Bowman

He and his brothers Isaac, Joseph and John Jacob Bowman were among the earliest settlers in Kentucky. His grandson, John Bryan Bowman, founded Kentucky University and the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Kentucky. His father George Bowman and grandfather Jost Hite were both well-known Virginian pioneers and were the first to explore and settle Shenandoah Valley. Biography Born to George Bowman and Mary Hite (the eldest daughter of Jost Hite) on the Bowman family estate on Cedar Creek (near Strasburg, Virginia) he was one of the first justices of the peace in Shenandoah County during 1772 and 1773 as well as being appointed a justice in Dunmore County, Virginia in 1774. He and his brothers arrived in Kentucky during the mid-1770s, later helping establish and settle present-day Fayette County, Kentucky. He was also a close friend of fellow frontiersman Daniel Boone. He enlisted in the Virginia militia shortly before the American Revolutionary War and, as a lietuenant-colonel, he served under Colonel Peter Muhlenberg in the 8th Virginia Regiment, otherwise known as the famous "German Regiment" of the Virginia Continental Line. He participated in battles at Ticonderoga, Monmouth, Germantown and Valley Forge. Made a full colonel, he assumed command of the regiment after Muhlenberg was made a brigadier general and led in regiment during the Battle of Brandywine. Among the Kentucky veterans awarded land grants by the federal government at Clark's Grant, Bowman received the largest with 7,590 acres. Resigning his commission in 1779, he returned to Kentucky with a party of 30 families that fall and founded Bowman's Station in Madison County, Kentucky. Settling in Fayette County two years later, he also participated in defending Kentucky against indian raids with his brother John, Colonel-Commandant of the Kentucky County Militia. He later became a prominent settler in Kentucky County being elected of the first bench of justices in Lincoln County, Kentucky and represented Fayette County in the Kentucky constitutional convention in 1825. He eventually acquired 8,000 acres six miles southwest of Lexington and later constructed one of the first brick houses to be built in the state. He died in Lexington, Kentucky on November 9, 1837 at the age of 88. He was survived by his wife, Sarah Henry, and their children. The Keeneland race track was later built on the site of his home, the Keenland plantation, amounting to nearly 12,000 at the time of his death. History The sisterhood of Delta Nu was founded on October 8, 1971 at Dickinson College. Prior to this date, the sisterhood was the Delta chapter of the national sorority Chi Omega. Our chapter wanted to offer bids to women of minority status, however our national organization did not permit us to do so. We vigorously fought to change these discriminatory policies. Chi Omega refused to alter their policies, so, we as the Delta chapter decided to return our national charter and form a local sorority. To represent this change, we kept the name “Delta,” and “Nu” was added to mark the formation of a new sorority—thus Delta Nu was born. We adopted new symbols and ideals. And most importantly, we were finally free to determine members of our sisterhood—regardless of race or religion. Current Involvement Since 1971, Delta Nu continues to grow strong. Each year, we raise money for various charities. Our largest philanthropy is called "Mr. Dickinson," which donates more than $4,000 each year to Safe Harbor , a long-term shelter which provides housing and self-enhancement programs for homeless and potentially homeless single adults and families. Because Delta Nu is a local sorority, we strive to help the Carlisle community. Other service projects include: The Ronald McDonald House, the winter fair at the Mooreland Elementary School , the YWCA, and Project SHARE. In addition, we lead efforts for Up 'Til Dawn—a fundraising event which raised more than $40,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital this year. Sisters Functions Delta Nu's social events include: pumpkin carving, an annual Thanksgiving dinner, theme parties with fraternities, formals and Nu Night—our annual alumnae night. Weekly sisterhood events include: wing nights, study sessions, breaks from study sessions, and TV nights. More than anything, we love spending time with each other. Na Fir Bhreige (which can be translated from Gaelic into English as "The False Men") is a set of three standing stones on the Isle of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides. They lie on the northwestern slope of Blashaval. The stones are set in a line that runs WNW to ESE, nearly in alignment with the peaks of Blashaval and Maari. They protrude 0.7m, 0.5m, and 0.6m above the peat, although they are probably embedded very deeply and stood much higher when originally erected. They lie 21m and 35m apart. The name derives from two local legends. One is that they mark the graves of three traitors who were buried alive. Another is that they are three men from Skye who deserted their wives and were turned to stone by a witch. The stones are located at OS grid reference NF 8875 7176 ({{coord|57.627366|N|7.217072|W}}). They can be reached from the A865 about 3 miles northwest of Lochmaddy. One must then walk about a mile up Blashaval.
