Your revert[edit]

Hi,

I noticed you made an unexplained revert on a policy talk page, that removes an accurate statement.

While consensus is not measured by percentage, the idea of a summary is to indicate the state of discussion so far in order to help a future consensus emerge. What is accurate so far is that there is some sign more people would like a change than not, but it still needs discussion to see what consensus will end up being. Straw polls are used to help to show where ideas have support and where they don't, and focus discussion towards consensus. A poll that ends up with around 58-60% "support" is not consensus, but it is accurate when summarizing, to note that more were in favor so far than against, as discussion continues.

I've reinstated the description but made clearer it's a summary of a straw poll, not a relfection of a "consensus" - if you feel this is inaccurate or unsound, or you have a more precise wording, could you drop me a note on my talk page? Thanks :)

Can you explain why you moved the page with omission of the _(keeelboat) suffix? It was purposely made consistent up to the 12mR boats... Nuttyrave (talk) 21:30, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"buddah" (congratulations, you can't spell)[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Aqua buddha requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Lenerd (talk) 05:27, 9 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Aqua buddha, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. BDD (talk) 20:42, 8 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Mexico listed at Redirects for discussion[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Template:Mexico. Since you had some involvement with the Template:Mexico redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. - CHAMPION (talk) (contributions) (logs) 01:00, 26 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
