List of highest-grossing Tamil films[edit]

Hi, thanks for your edits to List of highest-grossing Tamil films. However, this edit created multiple citation errors (shown in red). It looks like in adding some citations you may have copied content from other articles but only copied the reference labels (eg. <ref name="boi-worldwide2"/>) and not the entire citation. Can you make the appropriate corrections? Thanks.— TAnthonyTalk 17:31, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Highest grossing Tamil and South Indian films[edit]

Please stop changing these pages with old numbers which are wrong and unreliable sources. I have updated many films BO figures based on more reliable and latest sources. If you have any queries or doubts, use the talk page. Thanks. Cinephilekrr (talk) 11:07, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Please Include only Tamil Movies. Multilingual is not a original tamil movie, why can't you edit Telugu page with Multilingual movies, there are so many hollywood movies also dubbed in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. Kumareshwiki (talk) 22:20, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have edited Telugu pages with multilingual movies too, and Hindi pages with multilingual movies too. Multilingual movies mean they are made simultaneously made in 2 or more languages. So Baahubali movies are Tamil movies, so must be included in all Tamil movies list. Similarly, Vishwaroopam is both Tamil and Hindi movie. I have edited Hindi films list of 2013 and included Vishwaroopam too. Dubbed Hollywood films are not multilingual, so need not be included in any list of Tamil, Telugu or Hindi films list. So, multilingual films are original Tamil movies, so please don't do the same wrong edits again and again and give the old wrong numbers and unreliable sources. You have never edited a talk page. Please make used of pages like Talk:List of highest-grossing Tamil films and do not engage in edit warring. I will drop a formal warning on edit warring below. Courcelles (talk) 05:08, 16 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

July 2023[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Courcelles (talk) 05:09, 16 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
