Hello, I'm LuK3. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Royal College of Music have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. - I wondered also if you might be able to help with edits to the box - the President and Patron are incorrect, but when I change them the text goes red. Are you able to help? JMEWhit (talk) 14:30, 8 June 2023 (UTC)
- In this edit, you change the lead sentence of the article to read that the college "was ranked the global no 1 institution for performing arts in the 2023 and 2022 QS World University rankings by subject", which is promotional in nature. Please read WP:PROMO. You can edit the article, but make sure your edits are neutral in nature, encyclopedic and don't read like an ad. --My Pants Metal (talk) 15:06, 8 June 2023 (UTC)

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Royal College of Music. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you.
