Hi CASSIOPEIA, I've some queries regarding a user constant addition of wrong informations onto an article. I was previously advice by another user on the Wikipedia to add edit summaries for the not so obvious summaries after reverting a user's edits so to enable the patrollers on Wikipedia to see if they should block the user or not. (Refer to: [1]) Hence , I tried to add summary so that the other user. (Refer to: [2] and [3]) However, I'm not very sure the way of me handling this problem is the right way or not and do I need to warn the user. Can you please advice me? Thank you. Sophiajoanne Greetings. There are alot of edits you make on Running Man (TV series). Could you pls provide those edits you made which were advised to provide edit summary so I could advice you of your questions. Btw, are you still working on CVUA program? CASSIOPEIA, I'm still working on the CVUA program. I had just finish doing the last task you gave me. Previously, I did not add the summary of why I revert the user's edits (examples like: [4] and [5]). Hence I gave the user warnings [6] and in the end I reported to the Administrator intervention against vandalism which another user left on my talk page that he/she will only protect the page and not block the user's account. However, after the protection, I realised that it seems that this time a registered user seems to be making the same type of wrong edits (examples like: [7]). Hence I'm unsure this time round how should I stop the user from adding wrong information onto the Running Man (TV series) article. Sophiajoanne (talk) 09:59, October 6, 2019 (UTC)

Sophiajoanne Thank you for the hist diffs. There are no sources to support the content claimed by the editor(s) or you. They are not considered considered a "blatantly vandalism edit". I dont follow the series and not sure I dont know if one country air all the episodes or they label a different episode number or the editor has mistaken the guest appear in which episode. For cases of such, revert (restore this page) the edit manually and place an edit summary before saving. Place message on the editor page. If it happens again, revert, leave a edit summary AND invite the editor to the article talk page (ping the editor) and discuss the issues (make sure you send a message on the editor talk page as well of the invite). Pls do NOT revert more than 3 times within 24 hours on the same page unless the edits are "blatantly vandalized edits", if not then you will be 'blocked". Pls take note on this.

Sophiajoanne Yes as discussion/communication is the key here (not only mention but "invite = ping" the editor" on the article talk page as well as editor talk page (note IP editor would not receive a ping in any talk page, so we need to write to them on their talk pages and let them know about the discussion (provide a article talk page link pls because sometimes the editors do not know where is the article talk pages if they are new). CASSIOPEIA There were 2 editors which replied to the talk message that I left on the Talk:Running Man (TV series) ([8] and [9]). So both of the user also mentioned that it was wrong information.
