ErikHaugen (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) - I'm a computer programmer in Sunnyvale, California, USA.

I've been an editor since May of 2005, mostly doing maintenance work ranging from fixing spelling to adding {{Taxobox}} or {{Citation}} templates.

Going over new pages is a great way to find articles to work on. When looking at new pages, I mostly keep an eye out for attack articles, of which there are quite a few; hoaxes, my favorite so far was a very elaborate article about Subjective-C; other articles that, while created in good faith, really shouldn't be here; and new pages that need a little help with layout or syntax.

I've created a few articles, for example C++ Technical Report 1 and Sanajeh. It has been a lot of fun to watch other people improve them.

I also help out with history merges and deletion and move requests. If you would like an article undeleted or userfied please let me know on my talk page.

I work for Google, and have in the past worked for Facebook, PayPal, Active Photo, Homestead Technologies, and WebTV.
