Regarding corsets: I don't believe training corsets were any different in constuction than normal corsets, except maybe being small enough to fit a child. Variation in corsets comes from different materials being used to make the stays, ex. steel or bone or (nowadays) plastic. A corset wouldn't expand someone's chest cavity; if anything it would constrict the chest. I suppose it might push one's shoulders up, if only because the growth has to go somewhere, but I doubt that would be noticable. That's just speaking of a "fashion" corset. One for medical purposes might do either of those things, but I don't know. I'll wander over to the article talk page and see if more needs to be said. --Kerowyn 10:03, 5 August 2005 (UTC)
