A puzzling phrase[edit]

What does the phrase "as the benefice of the actress A. G. Menshikova" mean?

Title needs a "The"[edit]

We have a bit of confusion here. The Russian title was "Воеводa", transliterated "Voyevoda". Russian does not have definite or indefinite articles, so translations have to insert them where necessary and appropriate in the target language. The usual English translation of the title is "The Voyevoda". That's what the article should be called, not just "Voyevoda".
