I have noted that Lee A Boyes plays a version of Lágrima with an additional section as compared to the most common versions (e.g. https://soundcloud.com/lee-boyes/02-lagrima-prelude-tarrega). The wikipedia page for Francisco Tárrega relates (without reference) the story that Lágrima was written during his unhappy stay in England, which would seemingly put the date at 1881-2. I cannot see that the Mats Bergström reference supports the assertion that the date of Lágrima is unknown.
