Introduction clarification[edit]

"Talhoffer was a well-educated man who took interest in astrology, mathematics, onomastics, and the auctoritas and the ratio." What is "the ratio"? If that's the right word, we should correct the link which currently leads to the mathematics topic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.121.48.75 (talk) 15:47, 2 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Citations needed[edit]

This page seems a little light on citations (as opposed to references). Is anyone interested? --Peter S Strempel (talk) 12:55, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If no one objects, in a couple of days I'll replace the text of this page with an edited version which can be viewed on my Talhoffer draft page (sandbox). Please do not edit that draft page directly, but post your comments on its talk page.

Edited version[edit]

Substantially re-written for concise language, added references. New section 'Works' added to break out list of works by Talhoffer. Reference to alternative spelling of name removed after checking citations and finding only assertion, not sources to cite.

Draft version was available for comment as per my above post. No comment recieved. Changes committed today.
