@Gråbergs Gråa Sång:, from the references it looks like September was a sort of pre-announcement, and the formal announcement was in October. This might be splitting hairs though. Wikishovel (talk) 10:45, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for pointing that out, I have no firm opinion atm. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 10:48, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Fwiw, I'm considering suggesting redirecting this article to Simon Ekpa in a WP:AFD, but I'll look more at the usable sources first. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 10:55, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am quite sure the article is notable and has few reliable sources but I don't think it's ready or need a standalone article. I am suggesting merging to Simon Ekpa, maybe as an organisation founded or a current state for Biafran Armed Forces since both are talking about Biafra and it's military. Merging not redirecting is the option since there are informations with verifiable sources there to add to another. @Wikishoveland @Gråbergs Gråa Sång, what do you think? Otuọcha (talk) 11:31, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This new organisation has no apparent connection to Biafran Armed Forces, but a merge (tagged R with possibilities) to Simon Ekpa might make sense. I haven't found a RS yet to verify their claim of 100K members in Nigeria. Wikishovel (talk) 11:36, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
