Not Russian[edit]

From an ethnic perspective Chuhaldin was Cossack, not really Russian. It is best to put him in nationality categories that reflect the countries he actually lived in.John Pack Lambert (talk) 23:21, 9 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Don't be silly or so wordy. "Russia" is rather older than 1991. The sources list him as "Russian" and Cossacks often are considered Russian and in any case ethnically he was at least part Russian by any definition. Anyway sort out the categories on the category or Russia talk pages, where there are active discussions going on before mucking about with articles. cwmacdougall 23:59, 9 December 2012 (UTC)
