The SPATS (Sea ship, Plane, Automobile, Train, Space craft) is an acronym created by comedian Jesse Case[1][2] and popularized by the popular comedic science podcast Probably Science[3]. The acronym is bestowed upon actors who have appeared in all five modes of transportation in their films. Prominent examples include Tom Hanks, Sigourney Weaver, Harrison Ford, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and John Candy.
