4Eve (stylized in all caps as 4EVE) is a Thai idol group formed in Bangkok in 2020. The group is affiliated with Thai music company Workpoint Entertainment working under their label XOXO Entertainment.

History[edit]

Prior the official debut on December 23, 2020, the members of the group were selected on the survival show Girl Group Star which was aired between July and October the same year.[1][2] More than 1.000 contestants from Thailand and Laos applied for pre-selection, whereas 20 contestants were selected for participating in the finals.[2][3] At the final of the show, seven winners were announced to be the members of the idol group which would be named 4Eve.[4]

On December 23, 2020, the group debuted with the release of their first single Ohlala!.[5] In March of the following year the group released their debut album entitled Tales of 4Eve: The First Album. The lead single What Pa La? managed to peak in the top 10 in the Spotify charts in Thailand.[4][6] In October of the same year, the group released their first single album called 4Eve Special Album: Trick or Treat?.[4] About a year later the release of the second single album 4Eve: Less is More followed.[4] The group played their first official concert as a two-day event entitled 4Eve The First Concert Family & Friends in December 2022.[7]

In 2023, Jorin participated at Masked Singer where she was eliminated in semi-finals.[8] Aheye participated in several auditions for YG Entertainment and was contestant in the second season of The Voice Kids in Thailand.[9][10] Hannah, who was born in Bangkok but raised in Laos won second place at the Miss Teen Laos competition and starred in Laotian horror movie The Signal and was nominated for Best New Actress at Shanghai International Film Festival in 2023.[11] Punch is a model and was able to reach some reputation on TikTok.[9]
