Mak Ho Wai (7 January 1946 - 14 April 2022; Chinese: 麥皓為; pinyin: Mài Hàowèi) was a former male television artiste with TVB and then Mediacorp.

Early life and education

Mak Ho Wai studied in National Taiwan Ocean University for an electronic engineering degree. Thereafter, he gained a doctorate in Chinese language studies at the Beijing Normal University.[1]

Career

Mak Ho Wai enrolled into the twelth cohort of the TVB artist training class in 1982 to continue the legacy of his third brother, Mak Dai Shing, who was also an actor with TVB. Mak Dai Shing dead in the CAAC Flight 3303 accident in the same year.[2]

In 1995, Mak moved to Singapore to further his career and subsequently changed his citizenship to Singaporean.[3]

In 2018, it was reported that he had volunteered to a docent at the National Museum of Singapore.[1]

Personal life

Mak dead on 14 April 2022 in Singapore.[3]
