I used to be a daily Wiki visitor. Daily, I’d revert vandalism if I saw any and sometimes even make good contributions. I’m finding too many editors that seem overzealous to tag articles, or they are “tag happy”. There is such a thing as WP:SOFIXIT, but they’d rather tag then contribute. Some say, the tag invites contributions from other readers. I disagree, I think all tags look ugly and clutter the article. I’ve had co-workers ask me whats this “garbage” (tag). I say ignore it and scroll down until you can see the article. Researchers will go to other web sites that do not have ugly tags at the top of articles.
Another one of my gripes about the wiki are editors that mark an article for deletion within 10 minutes of its creation. They alone deem the article is not worthy so up goes a tag for Speedy Deletion.

I’m tired of it.

Georgia pictures

Hi! I see you changed the Quitman infobox photo to one of the city hall. Where is that? When I last visited, I didn't know where it was, which is why I added the courthouse picture instead. I actually live in Valdosta. I took a picture of the courthouse today but to get the whole thing in the frame, the streetlight is in the picture [1] so I kept the Brooks County page as is. I was actually standing on the opposite side of US 84 so I could get far enough back. If I turned my head to the left (while standing in the median of GA 333) there is the City Hall. The sign actually says City Hall - Admistrative Offices. It is the first city hall that I've take pictures of that does not say City Hall on the building itself, actually same goes for the courthouse. It does not say Brooks County Courthouse on it. You live in Valdosta? I live in Marion County, Florida; we're practically neighbors! :) Could you get photos of Crestwood and the North Patterson Street Historic District? Then the Lowndes County NRHP list would be fully illustrated. I was going to do so myself, but I don't know when I'll be able to get back there again. I'd also love to get back to Thomasville. Last time I could only spend a couple of hours there. The Lapham-Patterson House alone was worth it! Telfair County jail

Back in October you asked me about the Telfair County jail, since it goes with the courthouse as part of NRHP. At that time I'd photographed the courthouse only but the other day I got some photos of the jail. There is no article for the pair of buildings but the courthouse does have a commons category. Do you think it would be best to put the jail photo in that category? Bubba73 ^{You talkin' to me?} 15:55, 26 January 2016 (UTC)

The National Register of Historic Places application is entitled "Telfair County Courthouse and Jail". I believe that should be the name of the Category created, the Courthouse category would then be under it and photographs of the Jail would be in the above category also.
