Editor Buster7 submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:

Editor Jetstreamer loves airplanes and anything to do with airplanes. His over 100 articles created on the subject and his participation at WikiProject Airports are ample proof of his interest. His 99.5% use of the edit summary speaks to his collaborative nature and 70% article mainspace input speaks to a willingness to do the work of an encyclopedia creator rather than get stuck in the drama. Jetstreamer has received his fair share of barnstars over the 5 years of activity but is worthy of the Eddy because, as one barnstar stated, "You are a great editor with a great ethic. Another editor noted his "willingness to learn and change your opinions". Work ethic and changeability are valuable tools for an editor to have. This nomination was seconded by White Arabian Filly. Reversion in TAP Portugal

I don't know what kind of reversion you may have made in TAP Portugal page according to your justification, since TAP Portugal doesn't fly to Tel Aviv, nor any other city in Asia. Nupest 0:10, 30 January 2014 (UTC)

Finding reliable source

Hi jetstremar I am runaparvin you told me if I want to add anything I have to add a reliable source but how can I add a reliable source changing the destinations? Please help me adding a reliable source but I can't understand why not you changing the page of us-bangla airlines.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Runaparvin (talkcontribs)

Now 18th worst disaster

Would like your opinion

Hello, I was wondering if I could get your opinion here. Thanks! - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 15:30, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Thank you for the edits. I did make an error and corrected it to 2012. Department of Cheese (talk) 21:02, 2 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Department of Cheese: Do not use Wikipedia as a source. Please take a look at WP:CIRCULAR.--Jetstreamer Talk 21:06, 2 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ZAG title

Hi, I'm answering here to avoid a possible long discussion on that page. Could you please tell me which dispute is remained unsolved? I supposed that situation about title was clear after all because you didn't answer anymore. ZPσβ (talk) 11:38, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have nothing to reply to. I'm against the move and the only comment after my last one and your last one at Talk:Zagreb International Airport mentioned WP:COMMONNAME. Two users are in favour of the move, and other two editors are against. That's no consensus at all.--Jetstreamer Talk 11:43, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I read comments once again when you mentioned 2:2 result. The situation is 3:1 (users Ansh, SpeedyGonsales, ZuriPolako have nothing against renaming) and from that point I wrote that title should be changed, ZPσβ (talk) 11:54, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
SpeedyGonsales did not openly support your proposal.--Jetstreamer Talk 20:24, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Err... Yes, he did. He wrote "FFS, this wikipedia is full of examples that accuracy is more important than some commonality, from HIV/AIDS or Martin Luther King, Jr. onwards. WP:COMMONNAME can be (and/or should be) redirect to full, official name, in this case." And his further explanation goes for giving a preference to accuracy than to commonality if we read correctly. ZPσβ (talk) 21:24, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
If that's your interpretation I won't block the intended move further. It is true that users had enough time to discuss, so you may proceed. The article can be moved back to the current name at any time if this is decided in the future.--Jetstreamer Talk 21:36, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Before any change, I will put some comment about our discussion on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Airports so that can be clear we don't have a big dispute anymore (of course, we have still different opinions which are legitimate). And I just want to ask you regarding to your experience on Wikipedia, what to do if someone arbitrarily change a title? How to repair the title in that case? ZPσβ (talk) 22:11, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It will help that someone not involved in the discussion closes it.--Jetstreamer Talk 22:48, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ET 757 Retirement

Since you frequently edit the Ethiopian Airlines page, I thought I'd get your opinion...

I'm not sure if airlineroute.net is a reliable source, but it seems like ET is planning to end Boeing 757 passenger service in May (See Link 2). But an earlier source stated it would end this month (See Link 1). I'll let you make the final decision on the changes that should be made to the page.

PS: If you don't remember who I am, you got me blocked for sockpuppetry a while ago. I just want you to know that I've changed.

Triple A (talk) 17:34, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I remember you. And yes, airlineroute.net is considered a reliable source.--Jetstreamer Talk 19:50, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I see how you changed. WP:BATTLEGROUND clearly persists [1].--Jetstreamer Talk 22:37, 18 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Jetstreamer:, I fail to see how I'm "fighting" with you, and how "WP:BATTLEGROUND clearly persists". You removed an edit, and said "Not going anywhere without a source". I properly added two sources to reference the my edit, but yet you fail to see it as a good addition. And I'm also pointing out how you'd always post redundant messages on IP, or registered user's talk pages after they make incorrect edits to point out the nuisance in this practice. You are not always correct you know. You act like an admin when you are not. You may have been on Wikipedia for a long time, and you may have a lot of experience editing, but I do not see a title that says you are an admin. Last, I have reinstated the edit you removed at Oman Air. Let me add, the article that is behind paywall as you say in your edit summary does the job as a source. It briefly AND CLEARLY explains how the airline will wet-lease two 787s from Kenya Airways. It clearly says that before you are not able to read the rest of the article. Please see it as a good edit for once. And I suggest you to refrain from removing it, as it may be considered as an edit war (as a truely experienced editor like you should know). Please carry on with more important issues now. --Triple A (talk) 15:19, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I never said I was an admin. And I referred to your edit summary, not to your changes. By the way, your changes are not in agreement with WP:AIRLINE-FLEET-LIST as no wet-leased aircraft are to be included in fleet lists.--Jetstreamer Talk 18:54, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

My changes

Hello, in regards to my changes and the verification of the topics, 1 is that I live there and know about them, 2 please read the news or the company website for proof. If you have no idea in regards to that matter please don't undo the changes. Baderjf (talk) 12:41, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Vietnam Airlines

Hi, I noticed that you had reverted my change in Vietnam Airlines due to Added sources do not say how many aircraft of each type are in fleet, although my source, from Vietnam Airlines don't say how many air craft but the air craft configuration is more correct than source from ch-aviation. I doubt that source from ch-aviation is correct, too.

Hence, please keep my change which shows correctly the configuration of Vietnam Airlines's aircraft.

The last time, you had reverted my change due to Planespotters is not a reliable source and new orders are not firm yet according to sources given, however as far as I can observe, the fleet information from Plane Spotters matched with information provided by Vietnam Airlines information which can be observed through flightradar24. But I agree it's less reliable than other source since it works like a forum, however the reliability of ch-aviation is still in debate, see Talk:Alitalia#Fleet issue.

I still suggest to re-work my change since it's the most reliable source by now. 0x44616E68 (talk) 03:54, 22 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your changes again. If you start a discussion you have to wait for the response before reverting. That's basic courtesy. Aside from this, your changes do not support the number of aircraft in fleet. Moreover, planespotters is not a reliable source. You may want to start a thread at WT:AIRLINES to gain consensus for its use. The citations you added only support seat configurations. They can only be used for this purpose.--Jetstreamer Talk 12:38, 22 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
