Northumbrian lithograph[edit]

An 1891 lithograph of Robert Stephenson's early locomotive Northumbrian.

We've had quite a few steam locomotives recently, but I thought I'd put this here for potential use in the future.

An 1891 lithograph of Robert Stephenson's early locomotive Northumbrian. A sister engine of Rocket, the 0-2-2 was used at the opening of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway in 1830 and was the first locomotive to have the Stephenson type firebox incorporated in the boiler.
