We ALL need to be doing what John is doing. We need to be the ones getting the word out. Like I said yesterday, double and triple your efforts. If you are Long like I am, get out there. Go on a road trip across your state, make phone calls. Party and get lunch and visit CC stores.

Anyway, I just got back from the CC store in Santa Cruz, California. I talked with an associate who worked in the games department. Told him how expesnsive games and dvds were and that my buddy found out at another circuit city store that CC has a partnership with a new company called Gameznflix where he can rent 7 movies and games at a time. The associate was unaware of this so he asked me to show him. I took him to the website on the computer. These were his words: "Wow. Interesting. This is interesting." I could tell he was a hard working employee and felt good about getting hip to the new info because now he could look cool when he told other customers about the service. I told him I thought I had to come into CC to sign up but he showed me I could sign up through the link on the CC homepage (once agin, now he's the smart dude.) I thanked him and began to browse through the game section again but watched him as he began searching through the Gamexnlix website looking at all the new X-box 360 games. I then went to find the store manager but he or she was not in. Instead I talked to the second in command for the day and told her I would like to leave a note for the manager. I wrote a one page letter informing the manager about the partnership and that he or she should inform the CC team about the Gameznflix/CC partnership because customers would appreciate this. I also said the manager should inform other local managers because employees seem to be very excited to know this. I said some other things too and left my name and number. Anyway, the letter is going to be put in the managers mailbox and you can bet I am going to follow up on this. Now, I am off to other CC stores in San Jose, CA. DO NOT LET "The best laid schemes of mice and men oft go awry." Get out there today.
