You can upload your own logo, choose a Favicon and decide if you want your Sidebar to be positioned left, right or NO sidebar at all...

Generally, a left sidebar option is suitable for content websites, while NO sidebar is great for Salesletter style sites. Either way, you have the option of using InstaTheme whichever way you like.


Next up is the Styling & Layout tab, where you can choose your them design, colors, header & more:

Alright so lets move on to the Advanced Setting tab, where you can enable the 'InstaAttention Bar' and choose your settings for it...

This Bar sits at the very top of your site for visitors to see, highlighting something important if you wish:

Member Settings

The nice thing about InstaTheme is that it integrates with its own cousin, InstaMember, or the other big boys like 'WishList', 'S2Member' & more...

By itself, InstaTheme is basically a visual theme that allows you make everything look pretty and to your liking...as for all the Member management features, you can use another plugin or service that integrates with this theme.

However, you can always use the basic Wordpress 'user registration' features if you're NOT selling anything to your visitors...and simply want them to join your site to see all your content.

In this case, you may not need a Membership management plugin, and InstaTheme by itself would be enough.

You can also enable the 'InstaWelcome' box in this panel, which is basically a message that all your visitors will see in a contrasted box. Here's how this box looks in real time:

Notice the 'Attention Bar' at the very top of the page as well. Together, the Welcome box and Attention bar add a nice, modern touch to your site and allow you to highlight important things.


Ok so now its time to create the actual Pages of your site. Notice the InstaTheme Visual Editor below:

All the elements you're seeing above can literally be dragged and dropped into place, resized and moved around with your mouse! You can move things a touch left, a touch right, a little up, a bit down...its truly a 'visual' pane.

Also, what you see is what you get, which means that the way your page appears when you're editing it is the way it'll appear live to your visitors! This way, there won't be any surprises when you finish working on your page.

Images, boxes, buttons, videos and lots more is available to you in this visual editor. In my personal testing, I thought it worked very well!

The videos on their sales page are not very good, you cannot see what on earth they are showing and talking about so tiny and no way to expand them! Terribly thought out (and not the first time they have done this -

How can anyone make an informed choice and get this ... if you can't really see and make head or tail of the all what it can do sales videos!

And the irony is it is all meant to be a visual thing they are selling why they want you to have this! - Hmmm.....

(They are renowned for awful how to use their products videos once you get their stuff...)

Just a personal observation for me, I am hesitant to get the above theme till more comments/feedback on people trying and using it.... as I am really put off by their previous launches and bad reputation for support and bugs etc on various things they have done...for example see on this forum their product Instamember and read all mainly negative comments two pages wow...!!

Feed back on folk actually bought and using this please....

Hey Jenny, their previous launch InstaMember, had most of the glitches within the first 30 days as you'll see with the complaints on the other threads...upon launch of software there are almost always bugs/issues that need to be resolved.

Many people were able to sucessfully resolve these issues even in the early stages and there are positive reviews as well.

At this point, InstaMember is now mature and seems to have been updated quite well...there haven't been complaints against it for months.

Also, InstaTheme is actually a mature theme because they released it last year as an upsell to InstaMember, so this theme has gone through its round of user tests and has definitely been updated many times.

Hey Klinks, InstaTheme is a visual theme for you to design your pages however way you want...as for autoresponder integration, that would come through a membership site plugin or service like InstaMember, WishList, S2Member or other similar products...

With InstaTheme, if you're not selling your content, you can actually just use the basic Wordpress 'user registration' features to build a free membership site. You only need additional plugins or services if you're either 1)selling content and/or 2)drip-feeding it on automated schedules.

Got it. I want to do a hybrid approach.

1. Offer access to the site as a paid version with those paid versions being added to my autoresponder after pymt.
2. I want to grant access to my buyers from another product product (no need to add them to my list again).

So I guess my question is two-fold do I need a plugin to add the buyers to my autoresponder? Secondly, can I create accounts from an administrative standpoint.

Yes, in this case you would need a Membership management plugin like InstaMember, Wishlist, S2 or any of the other major players. As for creating accounts from an administrative standpoint, yes, you can do that with just basic Wordpress features.

I nearly bought this on the basis that this had the capabilities of a membership theme. In the first opening box of the sales page it states 'Create unique stunning membership sites....' This is both misleading and unfortunate as some may buy and then find they need to spend more to achieve what they originally thought they had purchased.

Not your fault Hanif and great that you mentioned it in your write up, so we really know what we are buying.

Couple of quick question about the theme, if you happen to know:

1. Is it possible to clone pages and elements, and are any different page templates supplied ...eg. different landing pages etc?

2. What blog styling options does it offer, if any?

I use Optimizepress 2.0, and though the visual editor is somewhat frustrating, it is easy to clone pages once you have them styled how you want them, and it does come with a wide range of different page templates which you can use as a starting point.

I have to agree with earlier poster Jenny about their video tutorials and support ...unlike Optimizepress who offer outstanding support, to the extent that they have on several occasions logged into my WP admin to investigate issues.

Having said that, your bonus of 60 days Skype support is extremely tempting! Would this cover helping me set up a InstaTheme membership site with InstaMember?

Hey Forrest, glad to answer your questions...

1) You can clone pages just as you would normally within Wordpress by hitting 'copy' for the page...there isn't a native cloning feature in the theme that I have seen.

2) You have the option of 'full-width' or with 'sidebar'. These two options, honestly, cover almost limitless page templates that your imagination can come up with. The drap'n'drop pane is like a canvas, you can do whatever you want inside of it. This is where this theme really shines.

As for their support, after the launch period is over it seems that their support does get better over time as the 'initial rush' dies down. Moreover, there seem to be more overall partners on board with this launch and they have raised good capital from their previous launches. I would expect support to be better this time around, especially after launch week is over.

3) The Skype support is for traffic and strategy related issues, things that are related to business and marketing, helping you make more money. I don't offer technical support or setting things up because my main specialty is traffic & conversion

I can bet though, you would benefit far more from the business advice than you would with the technical...

Was prompted to this new theme by a promo email.

My observations:

1. Terrible looking sales/launch page!!
2. Videos in TINY miniature dimension with no way to expand...wth...I can't see anything, at all!
3. No DEMO page?
4. No links to websites set up by early adopters?
5. This is a THEME, yes and so you are locking yourself into it.
6. Is this responsive? How does it look in various resized dimensions?
7. Does this replace the native WP editor, altogether? Can you still switch to it and use it concurrently? I doubt it. It seems to be using its own canvas I assume. How does it affect SEO, will content be picked up just as good as if created via the native WP editor?
8. What I could see (VERY hard to see anything in the videos) is extremely basic looking pages. Can you still use the usual tools like widgets and plugins, sidebars and all?

I do not feel intrigued or encouraged, not even at a discounted price.
You essentially don't even know what you are buying.

The native WP editor can be used on your pages, OR their drag'n'drop canvas. You have the option of both.

SEO will not be affected because the created content can be crawled and indexed by Google. The design modification are done via CSS, doesn't affect how Google indexes the content.

I agree, the salesletter doesn't do a great job, but if you look at the screenshots in my review, you can take a closer look at the features. These screenshots are actually ME using the demo version of this theme, and I found it be very easy to use and feature-packed.

It really is a great theme for fluid drag'n'drop design, works quite well.
