Hi Peeps66, if you search on Amazon for "Smoothie Recipes For Weight Loss", you'll see Brian's book ranking #3 in the search results, and it has a SalesRank of 32,422...which is very, very good (the Author Name is Hanna Getty).

Salesrank can fluctuate over time as new books enter the marketplace and based on other factors...but overall, this book is still clearly ranking highly and driving good Sales.

One strategy to get a quick ranking boost in the Amazon search results is to 'update' your book with new content...doesn't have to be a lot, a few pages can be modified, reuploaded to Amazon and your book will then be 'fresh'.

Brian's sales page has incorrect numbers. He is selling his smoothie book for $2.99 and claims to make $2.01 per sale.

Actually for a book selling at $2.99 his profit is $2.09. Why is it that he doesn't know how much he is profiting from each sale?

Makes me think he doesn't know much about Kindle publishing. Also I wonder what other things he is incorrect about if he made such a simple mistake with his own numbers.

To be honest I really don't think thats a big issue...if anything he has understated his profits, not overstated it.

I've reviewed the course and his main focus is on marketing strategies, thats what he specializes in. I don't think he tracks book sales and revenues anymore than checking what he made in total at the end of each month.

I've personally learned some great marketing points from him and his Magic Bullet formatting software also shows that he definitely has proficiency in the publishing side of things.

The person who writes for you doesn't format the book for Kindle and doesn't do any marketing...the writer simply writes based on your instruction and delivers a word/pdf document to you.

Hi, these books are all driving passive revenue, which does indicate success (most of these books are making weekly revenues, which adds up over the course of a year)...

Now as for books as successful as the 'Smoothies' book, to be completely honest, you can't expect all your books to be at that level of revenue.

Kindle marketing is a numbers game...you need to publish atleast a few different books to build your 'revenue' base. Some will be hits, others will be average.

As for the system, it clearly works for publishing books and driving passive revenue, as shown by your own examples of all the books. It does take extra work & marketing to keep a book at a higher Salesrank and driving consistent sales. The system is repeatable, but it depends greatly on how much effort you're willing to put into marketing.

If you have realistic expectations and are willing to put in the work, this system will definitely help you establish healthy, passive revenues from your portfolio of books (that can be fully outsourced).

Not sure about this 2014 version , but if I am not wrong, according to the old wso, the authors theme can be installed on 50 wordpress sites per license.

"You can publish multiple books on a single site and you can install the theme on up to 50 separate Wordpress sites."

Actually there is no difference between the two. For me, the difference is the title only otherwise the contents are all the same. I kept asking the support of why they did not update the contents and it seemed to me that they were ignoring my email.
