The Friday Night Fights NYC Series began in 1997 at the Church Street Boxing Gym in lower Manhattan. Since that time the series has attracted media attention both locally and globally. See Press Page.

While our events feature several types of full contact sports entertainment, the consistent attraction and media attention has been a result of the energy of the crowd and the "feel" of the event combined with the excitement of seeing local fighters go at it up close (as there's never a bad seat at any of our events). Watching the crowd is almost as much fun as watching the fights! Our events are about as indigenous as you can get and they attract a highly energized, eclectic crowd featuring men and women from just about every socio-economic and cultural background imaginable.

There may be no red carpet, VIP service or Network Television coverage but that's not what the Friday Night Fights NYC Series is about. While Disney takes over Times Square and the entire city becomes gentrified, the Friday Night Fights NYC Series gives our fans hard to find, indigenous, old school fun. There is no doubt that once you arrive you'll realize that you have discovered something old & new!

The Friday Night Fights NYC Series features a variety of fighting styles. Muay Thai Boxing, Amateur Boxing and White Collar Boxing are just some of the types of fights that are featured at our fight nights. All bouts are sanctioned by the appropriate sanctioning organizations (where applicable).
