This is a Newton Book which provides a guided tour of Symantec's ACT!
for the Newton. ACT! is a contact management program, for the Mac or PC, and now links to
your Newton!
FieldWorker Pro is designed to allow you to
collect location tagged data on a handheld computer linked to any GPS receiver of any
accuracy. The Demo software allows you to: Create Your Own Project: Allows 2
projects with 5 screens each and permits you to take readings of up to 4 stations. View
Sample Projects: Projects are included with sample data illustrating the
capabilities of the software. Note: In order to connect the GPS receiver to your Newton
serial port, (to capture GPS signals) you must provide your own cable. FieldWorker GPS

Leverage is a powerful database builder for
Newton devices. Leverage features very easy database creation and query definition, simple
data exchange with desktop applications, and excellent performance. Leverage improvements
include support for synchronization with FileMaker Pro databases on Macintosh computers
and Microsoft Access and other databases on Windows computers. Users can duplicate a
desktop database in Leverage, make changes on the desktop or in Leverage, and then
resynchronize the data in a matter of minutes. The latest Leverage even provides
connectivity to ODBC compliant databases such as Microsoft Access and Borland
Paradox.Leverage supports selection, sorting, and reporting. It provides a simple linking
mechanism to enable information in one database to be available in another. The automatic
user interface elements are intended to minimize the amount of writing needed and speed
input as well as to make efficient use of the limited screen real estate. Leverage is

This software is for Newton 2.0 Newtons ONLY. Mailing Labels allows you
to print out mailing labels from your Names File, either one at a time or for a selection
of names.
NewtDb is a relational database for Newton for
fast information retrieval. It has separate screens and databases. You can define the
layout of screens for displaying information and define different databases to hold the
data. NewtDb's relational capabilities allow retrieving data from multiple databases at
once and also displaying relational data in a list view. NewtDb has NCK support for data
import and export from Mac or PC databases, supports records numbers and record
modification flags. Barcode input is supported. NewtDb can be registered at two levels:
Limited at 4 databases and 8 screens for $29.95 and the full version that supports 64
databases and 999 screens for $59.95. Demo mode is full featured but expires 45 days after
