HUMA ABEDIN: MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD PRINCESS

Labels: » » » » » » » » » »

(Shiek) In an era when the most minute and lurid descriptions of her husband’s anatomical and sexual details are common talk, Huma Abedin’s familial and professional connections to the world of jihad are unspeakable.
In a nutshell – quoting former federal prosecutor Andrew C. McCarthy writing at National Review this week – Huma Abedin “worked for many years at a journal that promotes Islamic supremacist ideology that was founded by a top al-Qaida financier, Abdullah Omar Naseef.” That would be for at least seven years (1996-2003), by the way, during which Abedin also worked for Hillary Clinton.
Let this sink in for just a moment. The journal Huma worked for – which promotes Islamic supremacism and was founded by al-Qaida financer Naseef, who also headed the Muslim World League, a leading Muslim Brotherhood organization – is called the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs. It was edited first by Huma’s father, Syed Abedin, and now by her mother, Saleha Abedin. Saleha is a member of the Muslim Sisterhood. Mother Abedin also directs an organization (the International Islamic Committee for Woman and Child) that comes under the umbrella of the Union for Good, another U.S.-designated terrorist organization. As McCarthy reminds us, “the Union for Good is led by Sheikh Yusef al-Qaradawi, the notorious Muslim Brotherhood jurist who has issued fatwas calling for the killing of American military and support personnel in Iraq as well as suicide bombings in Israel.”
Given these alarming professional and family associations, it is hard to imagine how Huma Abedin ever received the security clearance necessary to work closely with the secretary of state. But she did, and from her powerful post, she undoubtedly exerted influence over U.S. policy-making. (In his National Review piece, McCarthy lists specific actions that bespeak a shift in U.S. foreign policy to favor the Muslim Brotherhood.)
Isn’t the Abedin-Clinton national security story at least as newsworthy as Weiner’s private parts?

NYC Mayoral Candidate Anthony Weiner Takes Al Jazeera Cash

Labels: »
Oy! Jewish leaders are kvetching over Anthony Weiner’s accepting campaign cash from a lobbyist for Al Jazeera — Osama bin Laden’s favorite TV network.
City Councilman Lew Fidler (D-Brooklyn), who has endorsed former city Comptroller Bill Thompson’s mayoral bid, called on rival candidate Weiner to return the $4,950 donation to lobbyist John Merrigan.
“Al Jazeera and its lobbyists are no friends to New York City or our Jewish community, and Anthony shouldn’t accept their support,” Fidler said. “They have spread hate and lies against Jews, not only here in New York but across the world. The right thing to do is to give this money back. Anthony should do exactly that.”

Obama's Jewish problem: It's the substance, stupid

Labels: » » » » »
In the Wall Street Journal, Start-Up Nation co-author Dan Senor explains how Tuesday night's election results in NY-9 show that Barack Hussein Obama has an uphill battle to win Jewish votes and Jewish funding in 2012
New York's special congressional election on Tuesday was the first electoral outcome directly affected by President Obama's Israel policy. Democrats were forced to expend enormous resources in a losing effort to defend this safe Democratic district, covering Queens and Brooklyn, that Anthony Weiner won last year by a comfortable margin.

A Public Policy Poll taken days before the election found a plurality of voters saying that Israel was "very important" in determining their votes. Among those voters, Republican candidate Robert Turner was winning by a 71-22 margin. Only 22% of Jewish voters approved of President Obama's handling of Israel. Ed Koch, the Democrat and former New York mayor, endorsed Mr. Turner because he said he wanted to send a message to the president about his anti-Israel policies. (MORE)
If you don't know I'm not orthodox (though I have a deep respect for them and keep a moderate semi Kosher). My family no longer black sheeps me. When I mention objective points about how Obama has failed their retort is slow and full of pauses. They still want Obama to win, but they have a hard time making their own arguments. My family has gone from complete censorship and fear of what I may say to a point where they are listening. I'd say this is a healthy place to be and if I am given reasonable arguments and not GOP choir talking points then I may have a very good chance of getting them to vote for a Republican. They won't ever be Pro Life, and they won't amend their stance on abortion... but they listen to me about issues that deal with government being too big. When I mentioned that is is illegal to take pictures of the police in the state of Massachusetts they asked my why I wanted to take pictures of the police and then change the subject. This tells me that they know that the Blue State juxtaposition of righteousness is weak. When I say I would save Social Security by taking money from the schools they were not hostile to the idea like they were four years ago.

Weiner’s Exit Sets Off a Race to Be Israel’s Better Friend

The New York Times reports: AssemblymanDavid I. Weprin, the Democratic candidate to replace former RepresentativeAnthony D. Weiner in a special election on Sept. 13, is a Modern Orthodox Jew who keeps kosher, observes Shabbos and has been to Israel at least eight times. So it comes as a surprise that, at this early stage of the short campaign, New York’sNinth Congressional District finds itself talking about an unlikely subject - whether Mr. Weprin, who is unabashedly pro-Israel, is the best pro-Israel advocate.
Just as a May special election in a conservative district of western New York turned into an unexpected referendum on the Republican Party’s proposals aboutMedicare, the coming special election in a heavily Jewish district of Brooklyn and Queens is, at least for that district, emerging as a potential referendum onPresident Obama’s proposals about the Middle East.
“It will be a one-upsmanship on who is more pro-Israel,” said Chris Malone, an associate professor of political science at Pace University.
On Monday, former Mayor Edward I. Koch, a Democrat, endorsed the Republican candidate in the race,Bob Turner, a retired cable television executive, at a press conference at which he stood next to an Israeli flag. Mr. Koch has acknowledged that Mr. Weprin is a strong supporter of Israel, but argued that the election of Mr. Turner would serve as a rebuke to Mr. Obama for saying that Israel’s pre-1967 border should be the basis for a peace agreement.
Both Mr. Weprin, 55, and Mr. Turner, 70, have criticized the president’s position on Israel, and both promote their support for Israel on their campaign Web sites.
But Mr. Koch said that although he and Mr. Weprin had similar political ideals, he had concluded that Mr. Weprin could not be “an effective messenger” to Mr. Obama.
“I said to him that it’s not a personal matter, but I want you to understand that it’s an issue that’s bigger than you and that’s bigger than me,” Mr. Koch said. “The president is not likely to be offended or feel threatened by David Weprin, Democrat from Queens, saying something critical of him.”
What did Mr. Weprin think of the former mayor’s concern? “My first thought is to quote one of Mayor Koch’s famous lines: ‘That’s ridiculous!’ It’s just absurd.”
Mr. Weprin and Mr. Turner are vying to represent a New York City district that includes Forest Hills and Kew Gardens in Queens, as well as parts of Flatbush and Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn. The district is about one-quarter Jewish.
And Jewish voters are expected to be particularly important in the special election, which is likely to have low turnout, said Jerry Skurnik, a partner atPrime New York, a political consulting firm. Mr. Skurnik said that Jewish voters tended to vote in higher percentages than the general population, and he estimated that Jewish voters made up 30 percent to 35 percent of active voters in the district.
“You definitely can’t get wiped out in the Jewish vote and expect to win a district like this,” Mr. Skurnik said.
The district is solidly Democratic, but conservative by New York standards, and Mr. Turner won 40 percent of the vote when he ran against Mr. Weiner in 2010.
Assemblyman Weprin’s relationship with elements of the district’s diverse Jewish community is also complicated by his vote in Albany in favor of the legalization of same-gender marriage.
Dovid Z. Schwartz, an Orthodox Jewish activist from Kew Gardens, said of Mr. Weprin’s same-gender marriage vote, “To the mind of many people, the vote itself was the point of no return.” And Mr. Schwartz also argued that because Mr. Weprin is a “career political insider” and of the same party as Mr. Obama, he could not be a “fierce advocate” pushing back against the president’s Middle East policy.
“A vote against David Weprin would send a clear message to the administration that they cannot take the Jewish vote for granted,” Mr. Schwartz said.
But the Weprin campaign argued that Mr. Obama would be more likely to listen to criticism of his Israel position from a fellow Democrat. “If voters want to send a message to the president, they won’t do it by sending another rank-and-fileTea Party extremist Republican to Congress,” Mr. Weprin’s campaign manager, Jake Dilemani, said.
Mr. Weprin is supported by the Assembly speaker, Sheldon Silver, also an Orthodox Jew, who said Israel was “the No. 1 concern among Jewish voters.” But Mr. Silver, a Manhattan Democrat, dismissed the strategy of voting for Mr. Turner to send a message to Mr. Obama as “a political game.”
“The record of David Weprin is such that there’s no choice,” he said.
Cynthia Zalisky, the executive director of the Queens Jewish Community Council, called the candidates “admirable,” but said that “how these candidates feel about Israel and the president’s concept of pre-1967 borders is going to resonate in this district.”
Both Mr. Turner and Mr. Weprin’s camps are trying to play down the importance of Israel as a campaign issue, while simultaneously burnishing their credentials on Israel.
In an e-mail, Mr. Turner’s campaign said its candidate was focused on “getting our economy moving again and creating jobs,” but it criticized Mr. Obama as being “no friend to Israel.”
Asked whether there was any difference between Mr. Turner and Mr. Weprin on Israel, Mr. Turner’s spokesman said: “David Weprin walks the party line. Israel is our strongest ally in the Middle East, and it is morally and historically wrong - and strategically unwise - to blame Israel for the lack of peace with thePalestinians. That is what President Obama has done, and David Weprin hasn’t said a peep about it.”
In a phone interview, Mr. Weprin said, “It is very important that the United States maintains that very special relationship they have with Israel, and I would be a strong advocate for that.”
When Mr. Weprin spoke to a senior center in Queens last week, he addressed his position on Israel, but fielded more questions on financial matters.
“Everybody’s mind is on the budget, the deficit, the debt ceiling, which we’re backing up against, and the potential cutting of Medicare andSocial Security,” he said. “I would say Medicare and Social Security cross all boundaries, all ethnic boundaries, and even all age groups.”
Dr. Malone, the Pace political scientist, predicted that other issues would indeed emerge in the campaign, but said the importance of the Jewish vote would remain.
“There’s bigger fish to fry,” he said, “as long as they’re fried kosher.”

It is a shame that good people will be overlooked in the Democratic party because of Obama. Let's hope this won't be necessary in the future.

if #Glenn #Beck did repent, he would be worthy of receiving forgiveness. Very worthy, but he has to admit wrong.

Labels: » »
It is lamentable that even incisive analysts such as Dr. Daniel Pipes have appeared on Beck’s show, whilst remaining completely unaware of Beck’s affection for certain anti-Semites who share his tendencies to rely on conspiracy theories. Incidentally, none of this settles well with Beck’s declared support for Israel, but anti-Semitism frequently goes hand in hand with a conspiratorial mindset. Of course, there are many other cases of anti-Semitic groups and individuals such as the British National Party (BNP) and Srdja Trifkovic, who have no trouble in proclaiming themselves to be pro-Israel. In June 2010, Beck promoted on air the work of a Nazi sympathizer by the name of Elizabeth Dilling, who, in writings that Beck neglected to mention, derided Eisenhower as “Ike the kike” and Kennedy’s New Frontier as the “Jew Frontier.”
A few days later, Beck discussed George Soros’ Jewish ancestry, accused him of currency manipulation and mocked him for “disturbing hair in his nose,” besides claiming that Soros was a Nazi collaborator. More recently, Beck devoted an entire show around two weeks ago to a conspiracy theory on bankers such as the Rothschilds and the creation of the Federal Reserve. To promote his argument, he hosted the anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist G. Edward Griffin, who not only believes that “present-day political Zionists are promoting the New World Order,” but also that the Protocols of the Elders of Zion “accurately describe much of what is happening in our world today.”" via propagandistmag.com
...as for Weiner, he needs more then admitting he has a problem with women.  He needs to disavow his politics.  Loyalty to Hillary Clinton will not help you with the ladies.

Weiner’s Porn Star, Ginger Lee “Lie For Me, Stay in the House”

Hard to take any of this seriously. I just don't have strong feelings for a Democrat that pushed Hillary Clinton and her feminist pant suit scum... but is it just me or does the porn star Ginger Lee seem to enjoy this? The pauses in her statements are not the pauses of a traumatized victim. They are the pauses of a person trying to get the last word out.

Barack Obama Says: "I Would Resign" If I Was Weiner

the other theory... Halal Weiner

Labels: » » » » » » » » » » » »
I proposed the theory that the relationship with Clinton was greater then the relationship with Weiner and the marriage is nothing but a facade...,
These are not twisted sorority girls trying a different flavor, Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin must be in a secret lesbian coven. If Weiner were a prop to masquerade their Pro-Israel credentials it would explain somethings. If this is a closet case situation here for Weiner's wife, the pregnancy would be all part of the greater charade.
this is the other theory... which is that Weiner is becoming a Muslim. I would prefer to say he is creating his own religious concoction that allows him to be powerful... so he can be a greater perv.
I won't include the silly feminist left theories of therapy and the oh so vain theory that he has sainted his wife as perfect and therefor can not sleep with her. That kind of analysis generally go to uptight English cultural scholars like William Morris.

Omar Abu-Namous is the imam of the Islamic Cultural Center in New York and he is encouraging Huma Abedin – a practicing Muslim – to stand by her husband, New York congressman Anthony Weiner. Why would this imam support Anthony Weiner, who was raised Jewish, in a marriage with a practicing Muslim woman?

EVERY ISLAMIC SCHOLAR  agrees that it is forbidden for a Muslim woman to marry a non-Muslim. Former Muslim Walid Shoebat has translated the Arabic declarations relative to the validity of the marriage between Weiner and Abedin last year. One such publication Shoebat translated was the Al-Marsid newspaper, which reported on the Weiner/Abedin marriage specifically:

Dr. Anwar Shoeb of the faculty of Islamic law in Kuwait declared that the marriage between Anthony Weiner and Huma Abedin is null and void, considering it adultery as confirmed in the Sharia position, prohibiting the marriage of a Muslim woman to a non-Muslim, regardless of whether he is a Jew or a Christian. In this case, he assured the invalidity of the marriage certificate between them.
Abu-Namous is in direct opposition to his Islamic superiors? Why? Huma Abedin was raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In 2007, the New York Observer wrote (in an article no longer available but cross-posted at FreeRepublic.com) that her mother is a professor in Saudi Arabia and that her father was an Islamic scholar before his death.
Weiner was raised Jewish but admitted to growing up in a non-religious household. If Abedin remains a practicing Muslim and her religion forbids her from marrying a non-Muslim, isn’t she failing to practice Islam? Wouldn’t that be the case unless Weiner converted to Islam? The New York Times reported that Weiner “sometimes fasts with her (Abedin) during Ramadan.” This would indicate that the congressman is more amenable to practicing Islam than Abedin is to practicing Judaism.

It was widely rumored that Huma was Hillary's lesbian lover
Before people should start believing that Abu-Namous is of the more moderate persuasion, consider what he was quoted as saying in 2001:
A unified Muslim state would be the ideal instrument to convince the world that Islam is the last version of God’s word. God meant his word to be obeyed.
Moreover, Abu-Namous spoke alongside the director of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) at the First National Summit of Imams and Rabbis. ISNA is a Muslim Brotherhood group. Abu-Namous is on record as having said there was no conclusive evidence that Muslim were responsible for the September 11th attacks. Ironically, former ground zero mosque imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is a permanent trustee with with the ICC. Abu-Namous’s predecessor at the ICC blamed the Jews for 9/11.

Presiding over the wedding of Weiner and Abedin was none other than Bill Clinton. It took place at the Oheka Castle in Huntington, NY on Long Island – barely more than thirty miles from the ICC where Abu-Namous served as the imam.

If Huma stays with Weiner, it might be because in Islam, a man can have 4 wives and any number of mistresses
The Al-Marsid newspaper reported what Bill Clinton said. Shoebat translated: Clinton spoke, presiding at the wedding about how the two met and how Abedin rejected Weiner in the beginning but the persistence of the latter did not make him give up….
Did Abedin reject Weiner because he was not Muslim? Why is a New York imam with ties to the ISNA and Feisal Abdul Rauf defending a non-Muslim male with a Muslim female?
Perhaps there is a more important question that needs to be answered. Did a secular Jewish man convert to Islam or did his (still) practicing Muslim wife abandon her religion by marrying him?

Garofalo, clinging to hope
that Anthony Weiner
will still be mayor someday

sorry... not till you are 17...
Representative Anthony D. Weiner said on Friday that he had exchanged at least five private messages on Twitter this spring with a 17-year-old Delaware girl who became an admirer of his after hearing him speak during a high school trip to Washington. Mr. Weiner’s spokeswoman, Risa Heller, did not provide copies of the messages, but said they were not inappropriate.

“According to Congressman Weiner, his communications with this person were neither explicit nor indecent,” Ms. Heller said.
A member of the girl’s family who spoke on the condition of anonymity to protect her identity characterized the messages as “harmless” but expressed concern that Mr. Weiner had communicated privately with the teenager, a high school junior.
The family was aware that there had been exchanges between Mr. Weiner and the girl but assumed that all of their conversations had taken place on a public Twitter feed. Then a scandal erupted last month over a photo Mr. Weiner sent of himself in his underwear to a college student.
Hillary has a good nose for a marriage candidate. Let's see... put the Muslim feminist together with the Jew who wants Aisha styled vagina. Sadly the feminists are already spinning this... I'll get to that shortly.... here you go....
Very interestingly, men like Weiner suffer from what`s called the Madonna-prostitute " syndrome (not Madonna the rock star, but Madonna the mother of Jesus) -- which only gets worse as the pregnancy progresses and when the child arrives. The man splits women into two distinct roles " the pure mother figure who nurtures his child and takes care of him, and the sexpot who indulges his every sex fantasy and behavior. He feels compelled to keep the wife/mother figure pure ", so he finds other women for wild " sex or whom he can defile.
To cure this syndrome, the man has to admit he`s splitting, and allow his partner to be warm (nurturing) and also hot. via thesop.org

so the therapists think he has martyred his wife as a saint.  doubtful.  these are thieves.  The more politically suave elite who lie to others and themselves about reality and self see the problem as being the male here.  Any person who is in cahoots with the despicable lying parasite called Clinton who is supposed to represent us over seas and has failed... in every way... because she can not admit she is wrong about Palestine and the rest of the Arab Spring.  The Iranians will have the bomb within 2 months and the fall guy will be a male and his obviously repressed libido... it can't be too sexy to know you are a scumbad who betrayed Israel.... and I doubt he wants to admit he did... because somewhere in Weiner is a Jew who feels guilt about this.

Gawker published the uncensored photo. It consists of anatomy allegedly belonging to Weiner, though Weiner’s face isn’t shown.  As Opie and Anthony passed Breitbart's phone around, Breitbart is heard saying: "Don't show it anywhere," instructions that were apparently ignored.  I don't believe Breitbart at all.

btw... I'm diappointed with the picture of Weiner's Weiner.  I was hearing on twitter it was big and that was why they thought it was fake... it isn't really that big.

why would anyone believe that giving people like Weiner more power is a good idea? because they believe in a huge nanny state. Don't let the Cigie full you. Garafalo's tush is owned by the powers that be. The big money is the state, not the rich. Billionaires like Bloomberg know this. That is why moving up is out of the free market and into government. Bloomberg would never have the power he has if he were just using his own money.
...meanwhile... never mind the Weiner....

in Spain the ruling Socialist party faces prospect of "humiliating", "crushing" defeat... because taking money from individuals for a government that is in debt about twenty times all the rich people in the U.S. combined is not a good idea.  You take away from the few to kill the engine of development.  It's proven.

btw: Anthony Weiner may have lied to President Obama directly about his Twitter scandal–denying outright to Obama that he tweeted a lewd photo of himself to a college student

Huma Abedin, an aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton who married the congressman a year ago, is expecting the couple's first child, the Times reported, citing three unnamed people with knowledge of the situation. via news.yahoo.com

Huma Abedin in the United Arab Emirates (AP)
With calls for her embattled, embarrassing husband to resign getting louder, Huma Abedin is on a State Department trip in the Middle East and Northern Africa. Abedin and Rep. Anthony Weiner are reportedly expecting their first child—sources tell the Post that she's 10 weeks pregnant, and the paper looks at her maternity fashion, noting her outfit of a "blue jacket and red belt that seemed to cover her belly bump."

The New Yorker's Amy Davidson wrote today, "It is, sad to say, a matter of legitimate interest that Weiner’s wife was pregnant when he sent those tweets. It widens our sense of just how careless he is with the lives of others, particularly those of people who are more vulnerable than he is. That is good to know about a politician; it is distinct from the question of whether someone who lies to his wife will lie to the public and, I’d argue, is more important." Abedin visited the United Arab Emirates with boss Secretary of State Hillary Clinton—the AP has raw video:

The Washington Post looked at Abedin's place in Secretary Clinton's sphere, "Abedin is one of the few Clintonites to remain an insider from the White House to the State Department [Abedin interned for Secretary Clinton when she was a First Lady]. In briefings, it is Abedin who quietly hands Clinton a glass of water when her voice breaks. On the campaign trail in 2008, as Clinton ran for the presidency, Abedin was her poised confidante, a steady presence in a campaign punctuated by dramatic ups and downs. While her official title is deputy chief of staff, Abedin is personally close to Clinton, an ever-present assistant and gatekeeper. She oversees planning and scheduling and advises on politics and policy, especially the Middle East."
Former President BIll Clinton, who officiated at Abedin's and Weiner's marriage last July, has said, "I have one daughter. But if I had a second daughter, it would [be] Huma.” The Clintons are reportedly very upset with Weiner.

Tell Tale Weiner: Regardless of if #Weiner is guilty, it was wrong to assume #WeinerGate

Labels:
Media_httpsiwsjnetpub_jpxryIf Weiner had known more about technology he would know there was no way to prove his guilt. He admitted to something he could of not had to of. Frightening that our government is run by an amateur. He must of had poor or unsympathetic advisers. I'm guessing with all the feminists he had to submit to that it was the latter type of advisers.
...But no I don't think I was wrong. It could of very well been a hacker.  here was no legal way anyone could of proved it. He had to tell the world about his Weiner.
Mr. Weiner, 46 years old, admitted that he had lied during the past week in an attempt to cover up his actions, and apologized repeatedly and profusely to his wife of less than a year. He said that in the past three years, he had engaged in conversations with about half a dozen women online. He said he didn't have physical relationships with the women.

Seattle student: Weiner photo meant for porn star

Labels: » » » » » »
The young woman who was sent a lewd photo from the Twitter account of Rep. Anthony Weiner says she doesn’t think the New York Democrat was hacked, but that he may have been trying to send it to a porn star with a similar name.
Gennette Cordova, a 21-year-old college student from Seattle, posed for a photo shoot with The New York Post on Thursday and shared her side of the story with the paper.
“Her name is Ginger — it makes sense he might have mixed us up,” Cordova said, referring to Ginger Lee, a stripper and porn star who follows Weiner on Twitter.
In March, Lee tweeted about wanting “sexual relations” with Weiner and, less than two weeks later, she wrote that she’d received a private direct message from the congressman. Weiner had also followed Lee on Twitter but said he stopped doing so when he found out who she was.
Weiner said in an interview with CNN earlier this week that he thinks his note to Lee was a “fairly pro forma thing that goes out” to people who follow him on Twitter.
Weiner, who has said he asked a lawyer to look into the hacking but hasn’t reported it to the authorities, further fanned the controversy when he said earlier this week that the picture might be of him.
Though some reports have suggested otherwise, Cordova, who issued a lengthy statement over the weekend, said she’s never supported Weiner’s claim that his account was hacked.
“Everyone’s [writing] that I backed [Weiner’s] contention that there was a hacking,” she told the Post. “But I never mentioned anything about a hacking.”
Cordova said she’s become “collateral damage” in the Weiner scandal and “just want[s] this to be over” so that she can move on with her life. She wants to work as a restaurant hostess or law firm assistant this summer while on vacation from school.
Cordova’s been overwhelmed with interview requests and “people are saying, ‘You need a book deal’” but she said she’s not interested. “What for? This isn’t my place, I just want to get it over with.”
“I’ve just been thinking about how I can get my privacy back,” she added.
Meanwhile, Weiner’s Washington office staff on Thursday called Capitol Police after being approached by a reporter from New York’s CBS affiliate who said she wanted Weiner “to say something to his constituents, the people who have to vote for him.”
#Weinergate rolls on for Rep. Anthony Weiner, New York Democrat. Now we're learning that the plagued congressman shared private communications with porn star and stripper Ginger Lee. In a March 13 tweet, Tennessee-based Lee indicated that Weiner sent her a private Twitter message:
"You know it's a good day when you wake up to a DM from @RepWeiner," Lee tweeted. "(I'm a fangirl, y'all, he's my trifecta of win.)
When contacted by The Daily Caller, Lee wouldn't say what Weiner sent her in that private direct message, or DM in Twitter-speak. via nation.foxnews.com
this is bullshit. it just means there is a possibility that Ginger set Wiener up. The only good thing about this is that I am learning how to spell Wiener's name right finally

meanwhile...
Clinton Calls Google Hacking Claim ‘Very Serious’
US secretary of state Hillary Clinton has described Google’s claim that Chinese hackers tried to break into hundreds of e-mail accounts as “very serious”, despite official Chinese denials.
google-gmailGoogle says that it has uncovered a campaign run from inside China to monitor secretly the e-mails of senior US government figures, South Korean officials and other users of its Gmail service.
“These allegations are very serious,” Clinton said, adding that the US was “very concerned about Google’s announcement regarding a campaign that the company believes originated in China to collect the passwords of Google e-mail account holders”.
She said that the company had informed the State Department before making the news public.
But the US, which is seeking to improve relations with China across a range of areas, has not brought the issue up bilaterally with Beijing.
The White House, which said that President Barack Obama had been informed of the developments, added that it was not aware that any official US government accounts had been hacked into, although the US does not prohibit officials from using private e-mail accounts such as Gmail.
Reflecting the early stage of the investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which is taking the lead in looking at the claims, said only that it was “working with Google to review this matter”. But Beijing responded angrily to Google’s statement. “Blaming these misdeeds on China is unacceptable,” said Hong Lei, a foreign ministry spokesman, at the ministry’s regular press conference.
Google’s claim that the attacks appeared to originate from Jinan is the most serious claim of China-based internet intrusion since a previous incident involving the company last year.  via matzav.com

On Wednesday, Google admitted that some Gmail users--including senior U.S. government officials, military personnel and Chinese political activists--had been the target of a hacking campaign. And they believe that the attack came from the Chinese city of Jinan. This is the second time China and Jinan have been in Google's crossfires. Last year it traced another attack to Jinan--the site of an important military installation--and China's actions caused Google to decide not to cooperate with China's censorship demands. The latest hacking offense seemed to aimed at monitoring particular users' emails and creating unfettered access to hacked accounts by forwarding mails.  Photo: Justin Sullivan/Getty Images via nymag.com and Google Says Chinese Hackers Stole Gmail Passwords [NYT]
anyone else think hacking is rare? ...but bloggers on the right still think Wiener is guilty....

It's possible.  After all, we know the Chinese intelligence services are very adept at hacking.  And Weiner has been a critic of China's human rights record for years, so China might have a motive.

was that offensive?

And we are being told that what is possible and what might have happened must be what happened.

But what is possible may not be what has happened.

It is now up to you to prove that I am wrong about the Chinese hacking theory.  If you can't disprove it, then I am right.  And Weiner is in the clear.  Right?  I said, right? via legalinsurrection.blogspot.com

I don't believe for one second that Wiener is guilty. I am a Jewish activist online... and I got myself into a very sticky situation legally (so bad I can't talk about it), but the day I went to talk to a judge was the day a hacker sent something from my twitter account that framed me. It happened a few times and from multiple networks. I am still fighting to tell my story. I'm very involved with my friend the JIDF and Wiener was very involved in fighting Jihadist video on Google. There is a very good chance he was framed.
This elaborate "I was hacked" story does not ring true?

...Winer is guilty because you don't believe people's accounts get hacked?  that is a lot of faith for a network who was hacked by Iranian hackers. in fact I suspect some of the employees at twitter are part of the prank... but I have about as much evidence as this blogger has that Wiener wanted to destroy his life

go figure... Washington State again with the accusation against men... particularly Jewish men. I hope Wiener learns a little about what goes on in this liberal state and changes his politics. I didn't comment before because I felt my dislike of Macho Spaz Anthony Wiener would make me biased, but after reading this you know this is a sexual lynch mob as usual from the usual place. They accuse this guy of being a predator online because they refuse to acknowledge that accounts can be hacked. http://xrl.us/WienersWiener

Wiener's Wiener: Dem. Rep's 'Hacking' Story Falls Apart?

I'm not a fan of Wiener the Macho Spaz, but I believe him here...
Over the last few days New York Congressman Anthony Wiener, a Democrat, claimed that his Twitter account had been hacked when it was revealed that "someone" sent a sexually graphic picture to a young woman in Washington State from his account.
The photo, a picture of a briefs-clad man sporting an erection, was sent to a young college student named Gennette Nicole Cordova who is a student at Whatcom Community College, Bellingham, Washington. This young woman once Tweeted that Wiener was her "boyfriend." No one is sure what sort of relationship Wiener has with Cordova if any. But there seems to be some links.
Another reason why this is very suspicious. Miss Cordova is purported to be just some random person that the Wiener Twitter "hacker" targeted. What makes this seem less and less likely is that Miss Cordova has in the last two days gone to great lengths to try and erase herself from the Internet. She has systematically closed accounts and even removed her name from stories she wrote for her school newspaper. If she was just an innocent, random person in this story, why has she gone to such pains to try and erase herself like that? Seems more like guilt driving her actions, don't you think?

not a hacker?

For his part, Rep. Wiener claims his Twitter account was hacked. This does not ring true.
WHAT? Do you have any idea how many times my twitter account has been hacked and twitter did nothing about it? Yes... I know he is a Democrat... and I don't even really like him... but this sounds like an online sex lynch mob against a Jew. the libel doesn't stop... even against Jews who are liberal.
Why would a hacker hack Wiener's Twitter account to send only one photo to some girl in Washington State (who claimed to be his girlfriend) and then just leave without doing other things?
because it destroyed his reputation and the hacker did not want to stay around to get caught... duh!
Its far more likely that Wiener sent the photo himself. This elaborate "I was hacked" story does not ring true.

Anyway, whatever the case, many bloggers are having fun with this one. Stacy McCain has a great timeline of what has happened thus far. But this is the extent of my interest in the matter. Check out McCain's post on this one for more information. via chicagonow.com

Failing to Recognize Yerushalayim

By Congressman
 Anthony D. Weiner

In what country were you born?
If you are a U.S. citizen born in Jerusalem, you’d better not look for the answer on your passport. That line is always left blank.
On every other passport there is always a line listing a person’s city and country of birth. But as a boy named Menachem Zivitofsky learned, this isn’t the case for people born in Jerusalem. Because of U.S. policy, the State Department declines to record their place of birth as Israel, leaving passports to read simply “Jerusalem.”
While this outrage eventually led to Congressional action, it also points to a larger problem - the failure of the State Department to recognize Jerusalem as the undisputed capital of Israel.
In 2002, Congress passed the Foreign Relations Authorization Act, part of which declared Jerusalem the capital of Israel and ordered then-President George W. Bush to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, since our embassies around the world operate out of foreign countries’ capital cities.
Part of the law we passed specifically spells out that if a United States citizen is born in Jerusalem, the “Secretary of State shall, upon the request of the citizen or the citizen’s legal guardian, record the place of birth as Israel.”
But the White House issued a signing statement saying it considered these parts of the law non-binding and that the administration would not implement them. President Bush said that Congress was trying to dictate foreign policy to the Executive branch, and that the president alone has the power to recognize foreign states.
In December of the same year the bill passed, Menachem Zivitofsky’s parents, who are American citizens (Menachem’s mother gave birth to him in Jerusalem), plunged into this debate between the White House and Congress and asked the State Department to issue Menachem a U.S. passport that listed his place of birth as Jerusalem, Israel. The State Department said no, listing his place of birth simply as “Jerusalem.”
A court ruled that our Congressional call for Jerusalem to be part of Israel intruded on the power of the president to recognize all foreign regimes. It also ruled that the court couldn’t enforce the law with the State Department since it involved “an inherently political” question.
This is wrong; of course Congress has the ability to legislate with regard to foreign affairs. For example, we recognized the PLO as a terrorist organization and made it illegal for anyone to accept anything of value from the PLO. Not only did Congress make these laws with regard to a foreign entity, the president used this law in an effort to close the PLO’s mission to the United Nations.
The idea that the president, not Congress, has the right to determine what a U.S. passport names as a place of birth for a U.S. citizen is wrong. Congress regulates passports all the time. The fact that the State Department can even issue passports at all is because of an act of Congress. For example, courts have upheld Congress’s right to require an oath of allegiance for people to obtain a passport and Congress’s right to deny a passport to anyone owing more than $5,000 in child support.
Adding insult to injury, the Foreign Affairs Manual of the State Department instructs its employees to allow Arabs born in areas of Israel that are uncontroversial and incontrovertibly part of Israel, like Tel Aviv or Haifa, to request that their passport not say Israel if they object to Israel being shown as sovereign.
If Arab Israelis can take Israel off their passports, how can the State Department not allow a Jewish Israeli to put it on?
This is simply beyond the pale, which is why I and several other members of Congress filed an Amicus brief on behalf of Menachem Zivitofsky, trying to relay to the court our displeasure with how our legislation is being ignored. The court did not decide in our favor, but I look forward to re-doubling our effort when the appeal comes before a court again.
This struggle is not just some “insider” bureaucratic dispute in Washington. Acceptance of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is crucial. The “international community” wants Jerusalem to be considered outside the control of Israel, probably in preparation of exerting pressure on the Israeli government to give parts of it away.
It is absolutely critical that the law I passed be implemented, that the U.S. embassy be moved to Jerusalem, and that the United States send a clear message to the rest of the world and Israel’s neighbors that Jerusalem is part of the Jewish state.
This issue is representative of the frustration many of us feel with how this and previous administrations have dealt with Jerusalem.
I still have not heard back from the U.S. Ambassador regarding the letter I wrote to him asking what country he was standing in while reading my letter in Jerusalem.
I urge you to ask him, too. The answer shouldn’t be that difficult.
impressive

I take back some of my feelings towards Weiner.  I still disagree with him concerning Creeping Sharia, but this letter helps
